We got delivery and the temperature was good, soup was hot and tempura was still warm, but the sushi was very underwhelming and needs a lot of work, the rice wasn’t good and the soy sauce was not very good at all. The tempura was fine, soup was alright as well.
My boyfriend loves Japanese food so i figured why not surprise him and bring him here for dinner so we can try out a new spot together. Im sorry but i waited to dam long for some takeout. 25 mins just to make some rolls. And only one waitress. Guess ill be taking him to mika instead in corrados mall in wayne nj
The service is in need of improvement and the food isn't as good as it used to be. I always order online from this place. Recently, I went to pick up an order. I spotted my order waiting on the table as soon as I walked in. I was acknowledged with a hi as I entered, that was all. I waited 7 minutes for someone to ask if I had ordered something. Mind you, during my wait, someone walked in and the hosted immediately stopped what she was doing, ran over, greeted AND seated thus person immediately as I continued to wait. They weren't busy, so I have no idea why I had to wait! Another "hostess" walked over, didn't bother to acknowledge my presence. Finally, as I mentioned after 7 minutes, she walks over with the very same bag that was sitting there when I walked in. I will NEVER order from this location again. I'll drive an hour for better sushi and better service.
Food are not that good. Soup are cold and menu has no complete description. Service is bad because only one waitress for 7 or 8 tables. one table is a family of 9-10. This is my last visit to Taka.
Food was extremely mushy with little flavor beyond old mayonnaise. Crab was imitation which was not specified in the menu

I paid for brown rice, did not include it. I ordered hibachi chicken and I got a steamed type of chicken . Nothing like grilled hibachi chicken . They also included three California rolls which I didn’t have the option to change and I’m allergic to crab. I will not be ordering from here again
My first time actually eating in the restaurant, to be honest the customer service toward dark skin people is disgusting, I sit there and see how whites were getting treated with great customer service and how I was treated sitting there and no one paying attention to me or trying to serve me, I would never put a foot in this place again… Just disgusting
This was truly one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We ordered sushi and it tasted....very bad. Almost like it was old. The general tsos tasted even worse than a $10 lunch special at a questionable place...absolutely not worth the price. Not only was the food exceptionally bad, but the service was terrible. We were the only people in the restaurant and the waitress forgot what we ordered, didn't come over to our table for 30 minutes even after we waved at her....this would've been forgivable if they were very busy, but it seemed like she was ignoring us on purpose. I would recommend anything other than this place....not to mention it was a lot more expensive than other places.
Whoever is saying this is the best sushi in whatever distance…. You clearly have not had quality sushi
