Best thing about this place is the garlic table bread they bring to the table. The calamari was 1 star flavorless served with marinara. The pasta I got bulognese was decent maybe 2 star, not much flavor there either. Service was also lacking i don't know what their policy is to get seated but they need to stop and just have a host/hostess that seats you.
This's my second time ordering from this restaurant and it will be my last the person who took my order was rude #1 the food was terrible I order salad with grilled chicken it was terrible. The first time was eggplant chilled it was burned ? couldn't eat Al's this last time I order pizza it was cold will never order from there again
I used to really love this place. In fact, my latest meal was delicious. But, like many others, they are passing on credit card charges to the patron. So, I will now go elsewhere, or decrease the tip amount by the same amount of the charge, until this changes. Not the waiter's fault? Sorry, cost of doing business. Plenty others not passing on the charge.
I used to like this place. And the food & service are great. But like many others, they are now passing on their credit card fees as a line item on the bill. Are you kidding? What a way to end up with a sour taste after a great meal. I guess I should be thankful, as I now confirm when making reservations if that is the practice of the restaurant. If so, I go elsewhere.

Have been dining here for a few years. Over the last six months every order has gone from bad to worse. There are definitely evident changes to the food. Way over priced for terrible pasta. No longer dining at this place.
Love Positano. The portions are quite generous, the pizza is excellent, and their warm chicken salad is amazing (must try)! Always a solid spot for lunch or dinner.
This was our first visit here and we weren’t disappointed. We ordered bruschetta - it was DELICIOUS and a very generous portion, and a large vodka pizza. The flavor was amazing. It was a little too done for my liking, but it was exactly how much husband loves it, so it was ok (and that usually happens unless I ask for it underdone, so that was my fault) - the taste more than made up for it though. I can’t wait to visit again. We’ll probably get the same things as we were so pleased.It was a Saturday night, so it was on the busy side, but the staff was SO friendly, super attentive, very helpful and made us feel welcome and appreciated. We didn’t have to wait long for anything. We were sat at a table right away, and then menus, appetizers, drinks, our meal were brought at the perfect times. I was very impressed with the entire visit. I wish we didn’t live an hour and a half away or we’d be visiting much more often.Thank you to the entire staff at Positano for making our first visit such a pleasant one.
While I thoroughly enjoy Positano’s Pizza’s (including the new “Skinny” pies. Delicious), I had the orzo pasta salad with shrimp today, with the house dressing. I have to say the salad and dressing were delicious and the shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The combination of flavors upgraded the rating to “Phenomenal”. If you’re in a salad mood, make sure you order the orzo salad with shrimp.
I have been a loyal customer for over 10 yrs. This was my go to place for pizza. Unfortunately the pizza now is absolutely the worst in town. The crust is hard, the cheese/tomato topping is all stuck together like a hard shell on top of the hard crust. Cheese doesn't even melt. Like it was made 2 days ago. I buy frozen pizza that's better. Just so disappointing, never again
