Attempted to go but got a frantic guy running after the car in the parking lot to tell me that it’s valet only. I didn’t want strangers getting in my car specially with the current epidemic environment. So I pulled away and decided to give a low rating for inconsiderate policy.
We had a wonderful Dinner at Novelli Restaurant in Wayne NJ yesterday celebrating my amazing Wife Karen's birthday. Food,service and ambiance was outstanding !
First visit ... food, service and ambiance are excellent. Very attentive servers. We'll definitely be back when we return to the area.
Reservations recommended. First time ever going here and showed up spur of the moment with out reservations and they went out of their way to accommodate. Very professional and the food was top notch. They really lived up to their reputation.
Amazing atmosphere, ambiance, service, food, and professionalism. Benny, the owner, came over multiple times to introduce himself, check in with us, and make sure that our experience was perfect. Immensely impressed with his business acumen and hospitality. This place has definitely become a go to! Can’t wait to go back again!
I’m not sure there are enough words to describe my gratitude for Benny and his amazing staff at Novelli! We were desperately trying to find a venue that would allow our daughter’s baptism party to begin mid-afternoon, as we had to work with a 2PM baptism time. Everyone flat out said no, except Benny!He worked with us on time, space, seating, food, and answered all my questions in a very timely manner.His staff took the heap of decorations we brought and made the room more beautiful than even I could have imagined or done! They were wonderful, attentive, clean, and organized! I was able to just sit down and enjoy the party while they worked their magic!Now comes the food. When you have a large family, there’s almost always someone who complains and says they didn’t like this or that… not here!! I can’t count how many made sure to tell my husband and I how delicious the food was, how they loved everything from the warm bread to the appetizers, pasta, their meal, and dessert course!Thank you Benny and Novelli for an amazing experience! You already know we’re customers for life, now you just have a bunch more ☺️
Loved it. Table for four, tried almost everything… The grilled octopus appetizer was fabulous. I had the duck and it was sooo good.. my husband had the veal, can’t say enough about the food … the great service … and of course the friends we were with made for a wonderful night. Great atmosphere… save room for desserts !
Best restaurant ! Been going for years. Atmosphere is variety of 4 areas. Love each one bar my fav. Reason it’s the best and I have been to many different restaurants. And there is no place like this. Besides the menu and the food which is always great. You can split dinners make changes however you like and it’s no prob. The owner and every employee there are amazing. Like a family and when you go. many patroness feel the same. Everyone becomes very friendly You become part of it for the 2-3 hrs you spend there. Like a mini vacation to unwind and relax. You will look around the entire restaurant and see all different faces. People really dressed up. People in jeans and t shirt. Everyone is having a great time. Rare to see people just sitting there just eating. You have to go to experience.
The food was great and the server who took care of us was excellent. However another server was eavesdropping on our conversation and proceeded to monopolize our time with his opinions. I’m probably not gonna go back there for a business lunch.
Always have a great time at my favorite restaurant, Novellis! Great food and phenomenal experiences that my family and I love. Definitely recommend!
