After looking at some of the reviews and deciding to order from this establishment, I come to the realization that a lot of these reviews are either fake or the people are in denial. My fiancé and I ordered the chimichangas that comes with rice and black beans and I have to say that this is the worst Mexican food that we have ever had and just after two bites we realized that this establishment just serves people anything and I honestly don’t even think it was fresh. The chimichangas were extremely doughy and the rice was hard and crunchy. We spoke to the owner and she was on the defensive about her food. There should not have been any defensiveness because a true business owner especially in the restaurant business will check the quality of the food that’s being sent out. Also, we had ordered two sodas and left only to realize that the sodas were not in the bag and the owner’s son just let us walk out without saying anything especially since he knew the sodas were not in there because when we came back to the store to get the sodas he informed us that there was no longer any more pineapple Jarrito’s. He couldn’t even tell us to get another soda before leaving the store. Look at the picture of the food. Does that look like something a customer would want to eat? I’m sorry but this is not good Mexican food and if anything you need to pack it up and leave Wayne, New Jersey and reassess the food that you’re serving because it’s not right.Reply: We understand that you apologized and refunded the order but we left a review because you allowed this food to be served to us knowing that the rice wasn’t fresh and the food quality wasn’t good. We had to leave a review to let others know the type of food that is being served to customers. An apology and refund doesn’t make our bad experience disappear.

First time there will def go again. Fresh, delicious food that is cooked to order & reasonably priced. great service! My husband said “best fajitas he ever had”! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My new favorite Mexican restaurant. First and foremost, the owners of this place are just incredible, husband & wife duo who are so passionate about every item on the menu. The tostones with pico & guac are AMAZING. I can not get enough of their guacamole. I also ordered the steak fajita and let me just tell you, the portions are huge, so delicious and filled with flavor. We felt so welcomed and we can’t wait to go back. Great experience! A must try!

I've only ordered food to go and it has always been good. I bet it's awesome to eat in. The place is very cute.

Fantastic fresh authentic Mexican food!! Atmosphere is fantastic. Clean fresh eating!!

This was the best Mexican restaurant my family and I have experienced in a long while. When we are back up this way, we will make sure to come back.

I was in the mood for Mexican and found this spot. I ordered the shrimp with green sauce platter online. When I arrived I parked in the plaza parking lot. I walked in and was greeted. My food was ready by the door. I dug in when I got in and the shrimp was very good and so was the rice and beans. Eveything was flavored well and the sauce they used made it all the more better. I enjoyed my meal and will return.

I have to start off with a compliment actually. The food is good; the attitude of management is not. Heaven help you if you get her mad, because you are in for it. As a Chef, I can't begin to tell you how important it is to maintain proper professional relationships with customers. Without them, we would be out of business. When a customer calls with dietary restrictions and for the second time you can't honor that, then maybe you shouldn't be in business. I have ordered to go meals numerous times and they have all been good except for the one time when I asked for a steak burrito with no rice. I got home and there was rice in it. I'm diabetic and avoid carbs whenever possible to keep my blood sugar close to normal levels. For me to indulge in carbs, they have to be really worth the blood spike. When the order was not what I had ordered, I didn't call back, I just picked out as much of the rice as possible. This time when I called to order, I said the following. "I'd like to order a chicken quesadilla and a steak burrito with no rice. I cannot stress to you how important it is that there not be any rice in there." The guy said ok, no problem. I went to pick up the food, brought it home, opened it an hour later, looked at it and said to myself, why the hell is this burrito so huge? Well guess what? Rice and loaded with it! Where's the beef? Don't know because there was so little of it, I couldn't pick it out. I'm going to say 95% rice, 5% beef. Like the old commercial said, “Where’s the beef?” Unacceptable! I decided to call and when the owner answered, she was very pleasant as always until I said what was wrong with the order and she asked for my name to check the order, as if I were lying. It was obvious by the sudden change in her voice because no one is allowed to comment or state anything negative to her. She confirmed that I was right and nicely said that I could bring it back, have it corrected or I could get a refund. Who wants to pack it up and go back out? Not me. I said to her that it was ok, I didn't want a refund or to bring it back but suggested she tell the cooks to be more attentive to the orders next time. And that is when she flipped out! "Who are you to tell me how to run my business," she yelled?" We are a small family run business and mistakes happen!" "This is the second time," I said and that I am a Chef, but she didn't care. What if I had some allergy to foods that were deadly, would you say that I had to accept it? She went on a rampage, wouldn't let me get two words in and then the Seinfeld Soup guy in her came out. "Don't come back here anymore and I'm blocking your number from ever calling again!" End of call. A couple of days later I decided to go get my refund only because of the way she treated me. When I entered, the guy who took my order was behind the counter. She was walking away and not wanting her to know it was me, I quietly stated to the guy that I was there for a refund for the steak burrito. "Oh the one with the rice," he loudly said. She heard him, let out a loud laugh, turned and asked me if it was me? I said yes. Pointing her finger at him, she angrily said “Give him the money back for the burrito!” I took it and left. In my business, any form of attitude like this would have me immediately fired. Who talks to a person like that? Laugh at them? Banning them? Blocking their number? Never in my life had I experienced anything like this. All because of a dietary request? And while we’re at it, what’s with all the excuses all the time. She tells people in reviews about the current cost of food, her fractured ankle, how hard her family works, etc, etc. People don’t care. They want their food the way it was ordered without all these sob stories. If you search other reviews on google, you will see that she reacts the same way with anyone that has a complaint. On one she even stated that the person should come in and identify themselves as if it was a po
