We just had the birria chicken tacos at the Philly taco truck festival and they are INCREDIBLE and the Verde guac salsa is so good I swear I could drink a glass of it. If you haven't tried them yet this is your sign GO EAT THERE NOW!
Talk about an amazing find!Great service and friendly staff. The seating is mostly outside, but they have a nice area with picnic tables that's not too glaringly in the sun. They have a pickup window outside, as well.The food was absolutely delicious. I got the Al Pastor Jackfruit Tacos and a guacamole empanada. The sauces on the side were delicious, the tacos were flavorful and fresh.. and the empanadas were crisp on the outside with a nice chew and not greasy at all.We were also checked on during our time there, which I really appreciated. It gave me a chance to compliment the chefs!The chorizo was also delicious, as I tried some of my husband's ?Highly recommended overall!
Excellent. Well worth the 63 miles to get here. Food was out of this world good! Special mention to Natalia for her courtesy and compassion to me as a handicapped person. She is the kind of employee you want to have on your front line!!!
Unbelievable! The food was great and staff was totally committed to serving customers well. Tacos were stuffed and I mean really stuffed. Shrimp were fresh and plentiful and meats were so tender, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Julios deserves to be #1 Taco Place in NJ. Special shoutout to Natalia who met me at the door when she saw my walker, gave me a special line to order in, and then brought lunch to my car. You just don't find that kind of extra special service in many places today. By the way, I drove 63 miles to find Julios and I'm going to do it again and bringing friends.
Wow.. this place is a hidden gem ! I love Mexican and decided to try this place .. The atmosphere outside is awesome .. picnic tables under a pergola strung with outdoor patio lights… Inside a long shelf against the wall .. with stools .. more of a take out and eat outside place .ordered salsa and chips to start …. so fresh and delicious! Next up chicken fajitas and Mexican street corn… OMG I can’t even tell you how delicious it it!! If you’re looking for a authentic Mexican spot this is it!
I just ordered dinner for pick up. I ordered 1 taco salad bowl and 1 taco rice bowl. My girlfriend arrived to get the food and they told her that they were waiting on the rice and when it was ready they would bring it out. She went to her car and waited… for 20 min at which point it was 7:01p. She finally went in and the woman told her that our order was on the counter and had been sitting there since it was ready. They close at 7p. Who knows how long it sat there or why it was never brought out. The food is good but the service is lacking.
I've been following Julio's for sometime, and after seeing they were endorsed by NJ.com, I was probably more skeptical as usually they don't know good Mexican food if it them in the face. That said, I was pleasantly surprised with the food, we got the Birria Tacos, Guacamole Empanada, Beef Empanada and a churro... All were amazing. The Birria Tacos well done with a broth that made you want more. The empanadas satisfied every taste bud, and the churro was a sweet treat. The only drawback was I wished I lived closer, because I'd order from here all the time.
So, I live about 1/2 hour away... And I was in uniform. By about minute 6 or 7 I reached in the bag and pulled out a beef empanada.. uniform be damned...wow. The Birria tacos when I got home just as good.
The birria taco pizza is the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Everything is fresh and delicious, portions are plenty big to share or not share. The guacamole is so fresh and flavorful too. Cannot wait to go back!
Normally we love this place. Today we waited over 1 1/2 for our food . It was greasy and meat overcooked. Not even an apology for the long wait. Very disappointed won’t be going back for a long while.
