I had no idea that this great neighborhood bar and grill existed.They had a large outdoor deck, and even larger outdoor covered area, one for drinks and another for sit down table service, but these last two were not being used the evening we went as there weren't many customers and it seemed like they weren't staffed to support it that day.We sat on the deck and and enjoyed a nice dinner and drinks with our friends.Service was great with quick refills of our drinks and ensuring that everything was good with the food.Looking forward to going back here again
I really want to love this place as I live a few minutes away but I cannot say I will be coming back. I feel like the food is mediocre and they definitely overcharge for the drinks. Being a bartender for the past 15 years I am very put off by getting charged for premium liquor when i suspect that they may be refilling the bottles with a lesser quality liquor. On top of charging for a "double" just because I asked for certain drinks on the rocks. When I asked why the "bartender" said they charge for a double when a shot is on the rocks.....ok.....wasn't aware of that. So, now a jim beam on the rocks is running me as much money as if I were in Manhattan. But, I'm not. I am in a neighbourhood bar in NJ. The Guiness sticky wings were terrible and not even tossed and $16? I'm just really turned off by this place. To each their own...........
This place has been a staple in town for years. So much has changed, including their remodeling, but the service is exemplary. Martina & Hannah are the bartenders you want on a Thurs eve with a specific drink in mind. The owners did a great job with the outdoor biergarten tents as well. Bring an appetite, even if you have an indecisive palate. Awesome neighborhood bar if you’re in the area.
Nice workers who were busy since I went during dinner rush hour around 7pm. Cozy spot near Kean University with reasonable prices and good food. Easy to order and comfortable atmosphere with extra parking across the street at the YMCA.
Went last week with a friend during the day and food was amazing. I was craving it again today so we went there for another round of burgers and fries during dinner time. However, this time, they skimped out on the fries and the “fried” onions they provided were sautéed. When mentioned to the waitress, Marcela, she said this is the size for fries (even though last week we received nearly half the tray full) and those are the only fried onions they have for burgers. I am giving two stars because the waitress added a basket of fries complimentary.
I Live 2 minutes away by car at this restaurant and wish the food was better. Ordered a junior smash burger the other day and it tasted like it was water logged with no seasoning. Complete waste of money.. Stay away!
This place is very cozy and pretty much laid back, and it may have something to do with being sort of nestled within a very residential neighborhood. However, the staff was very friendly and kind. The food coming out the kitchen was good and the menu had a variety of tasty items. Great place for lunch or dinner with family and friends. Give this place try and you won't be disappointed.
This place is absolutely amazing, the food, drinks, staff and the atmosphere of the place. From the first day I stepped into this restaurant/bar I was welcomed with warm welcomes from the staff and from that day forward I’ve been coming to this place for about 10 years to which I like to call my home/family. The owners are very nice and always are looking to change and spice up their food menu and drink specials to which I very much enjoy! I highly recommend the wings, nachos and or the burgers very delicious, but everything on the menu is very good let’s be honest. You won’t be disappointed coming to this restaurant!
