This used to be a 5-star review. My first time getting food from here (via Uber Eats) it was soooo delicious. First bite of the veggie burger, I had to pause for a second to appreciate it LOL. And the "seasoned fries" - while not so much seasoned as beer battered - were arguably the best I've ever had. I was excited to try some other things from there.Update (maybe a week later) ... ordered pizza, wings and jalapeño poppers. I must say the pizza and wings were very average. Def not worth the cost, like AT ALL. Very disappointing.
Awful place, the man taking our order got it wrong 3 times, we ordered a slice and he tried charging us for a whole pizza, he was not listening at all and didn't seem to care. Nothing about our order was good. Don't go here unless you want the taste of mediocrity and disappointment in your mouth.
The biggest slice in town I loved Tony Novantes pizzeria all the food is delicious..
Average pizza. For the price, I’d say below average. Ok for a quick slice. Don’t. Other going out of your way. Only two stars to compensate for all the fake 5 star reviews. New owners raised prices 30%.
I was in New york for the weekend tbh. Already has dinner that night but felt like some pizza so stopped in here to have a slice of pizza and desert. Both were delicious. I was sad I was already stuffed. I would've wanted more. Bit was a good-night treat for me. Real big slice of pizza. My only regret was not having more.
Placed an order before 11:00 PM on delivery.com (Novante's closing time is listed as midnight both on delivery.com and on Google).At 11:40 PM I received a call from delivery.com's customer service department telling me they couldn't get a hold of anyone at the restaurant, and would have to cancel my order. By this time, everything else was closing and there were no other delivery options.
I ordered subs, pizza, wings,and many others.. The food was so bad and smelly I'm sure a hundred percent it wasn't fresh although it was heated many times.Also they charged me more than what was in the menu.
Just ate there and the food was amazing! I ordered their chicken parm and it was delicious. The sauce was tasty and the chicken was absolutely delightful. There was also plenty of mozzarella on top and the food came nice and hot. I’ve been there several times and the quality is always consistent. I would highly recommend it, especially if you love pasta! The pizza is also great and they never skimp out on the toppings.
We loved Tony's pizza, wings and calzone! My kids and I tried out many pizzas in NJ/NY area and we know a tasty pizza just from our first bite. A lot of cheese was on it and the dough was awesome! We saved them for breakfast. The calzone was also tasty as it was very cheesy and reminded me of my visit to Italy. Wings with Thai hot chili sauce had a nice kick to it and really enjoyed the zing taste. My family and I just loved it. And I loved that they have different types of sauces along with different size pizza pies. Thank you for making great Italian dishes, Mr. Novante! Hope to visit you real soon!!
The slices are huge, but that's it. They taste and look like fried chicken joint pizzas or at a NYC $1 slice.
