Great place, have a couple tables outside( on this area , downtown is rare) nothing fancy, but a good menu. My fabs are: shrimp parmigiana with zitti and the Italian trio( nice hero sandwich , ham, salame and provolone, abundant cold cuts on it) eat well , good portions and don't get bankrupt. Good price- quality relation, and customer service is cordial. I recommend it.

I’ve lived in Union City for a few years now, and this is the best pizzeria around. Delivery is quick and efficient. One of my new favorites from Sam’s is their Chicken Cutlet Sandwich. I highly recommend it.
I came in to get a slice of pizza with Buffalo chicken which tasted great but it was so crunchy it completely fell apart. I had to eat my pizza like chips. I also ordered garlic knots and it tasted like soap and garlic. This place used to be my go to but I guess they fell off.
Look man, when it comes to pizza, anybody with half a brain can do it. When you're reviewing a pizza place, if you mention the pizza, it's because either it was really awful or the only good thing about this place. Sam's Pizza Restaurant has staff that know how to interact with costumers. A bilingual staff with an awesome atmosphere that makes the act of eating a slice of pizza feel complete. Damn, i love this place. That's not even mentioning the prices, how are they even making a profit? That being said, notice how i didn't mention the quality of the pizza? it's because that isn't what needs attention, it's the hard working staff and incredible service that deserves the attention.
The eggplant parmesan hero is very good.
Incredibly disappointed. I love to support my local pizza restaurants but when they are charging $22 for a large pie with 2 toppings, that is outrageous. What is also sad that the quality in the pie is not there anymore, the cheese is way too thick and doesn't taste as good as I remember it to be. Dominos on the other hand sells large pie, with 3 toppings for 1/3 of the price of Sam's. I would love to care for my local pizza restaurant but sadly they don't seem to care about their local customers.
