I’ve ordered lunch to go from Roast a couple times and I loved what I got every time. Highly recommend the Hawaiian chicken sliders and the honey mustard chicken sandwich.

Roast Cafe Bistro is a gem for Weehawken and Union City. Reviews suggested that the Cowboy Burger was well worth trying, and it certainly lived up to the hype.It was everything you look for when indulging in a burger - fresh, juicy patty, crispy bacon, special sauces/seasoning, soft and crisp bun, and the onion straws were perfect. Also, the fries were crispy and fresh, always a big plus.The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I'm eager to explore the rest of the menu, and so happy with the new addition to the area!

We’ve been coming here for about a month. First for coffee and then for food. Both are really good. The iced coffee is made fresh and is always delicious. The falafel and other sandwiches are super fresh and delicious. Love this spot! The staff are super friendly and courteous. They take care in what they make and how they treat their customers.
Delicious, fresh food prepared with attention to small details that make a meal really special. Fresh herbs and red onion chopped and added to make fresh balsamic dressing for the side salad, fried shrimp nice and hot and light, not greasy, powdered sugar added to the top of the cannoli right before serving. We ordered out but got there early to pick up and got to watch some of the prep and the good service. Took it home and enjoyed a delightful meal. GREAT Union City restaurant I hope everyone supports this place! We will be back. Way to go, Roast!
