The place used to have top quality food. Now pretty much everything tastes bland or too salty. What a shame.
Please be aware of the place being careless about food and not worth any money. It’s very sad to pick up chaufA rice and roast chicken with tostones so hard you can’t even eat it that you have to throw it away.If you are in the restaurant business is to please life’s not make it miserable.
Food was delicious. We stopped at this restaurant on the way back from NY and it did not disappoint. Portions were good. We were very satisfied with everything and will definitely going back even if we just drive for 3 hrs and come back but its worth it.
Being borned in Perú and knowing my Peruvian cuisine very well. I don't think this a good place to get your roasted chicken.The portions are very small compared to other places .And the hike on the price in insane, me not being cheap at all when it comes to food.Usually at a good Peruvian restaurant you will find a whole roasted chicken two side choices at around $19 to $20.Here the price is $24 and they only give you three small sauces to take out. ( the green sauce for the chicken makes %70 of the whole Peruvian chicken experience) you will have to pay if you need extra, which is not normal that you need to pay for extra sauce. I totally despise that on a restaurant.Imagine paying extra for ketchup for your fries.I bought two whole chickens$50.I do not recommend this place.Go to other Peruvian places.I'm definitely not ordering food from this place.Go to the one on Paterson.

The ceviche was really good. Everything else was okay. And service left a lot to be desired.
I like this Leña y Carbon restaurant like I mean it... my family and I usually come in for the Pollo a la Brasa, Patasca and for the special on weekends...There is only one thing that I don't like it...Flies...what I am writing here is just for the onwer, PLEASE CONTROL THE FLIES.Put something in your restaurant to kill the Flies.
