Do not order the nachos. Legit the worst nachos ever tasted, soggy, used a couple pieces of American sandwich cheese and some basic salsa. Complete garbage. Can make a better plate of nachos at home. Don't waster your money
this was my favorite diner and after today i’ll never go back there again. My girlfriend and i go there all the time. She forgot her ID and they refused to serve her drinks because of it. we even had a picture of the id that they refused to accept. i understand that this is the law, but we are clearly of age and have been there enough times with our ids for them to know we are of age. We took a lot of pride spending our money here because it is a small family owned business with great service and generous portions, unfortunately, this senseless fear has made them lose us as patrons permanently.
Been here twice, both times for breakfast/brunch. Food was great, especially for the price. Staff friendly. There is also a big parking lot on-site. Not sure why their average review score isn't higher.
I went there because my husband said its a four star diner. It wasn't until we got there that i said looks like a 1 star to me. Look up and its name is four star diner. As usual we gave the benefit of the doubt. As soon as we walk in the lady who turns out to be the manager was super ghetto. Fast forward...the food comes out and im given a burned waffle along with burned bacon and sausage. When we complained to the waiter all he said was im sorry. I stopped complaining as my husbands burger seem to be fine and i wanted him to finish. The bill was over 40 for food that didn't get eaten and to top it off no one thought to do anything about it. Do not bother going to this location, once i entered the bathroom i understood why food was disgusting. They simply do not care. They get one star for having music selection at every table. I try places once and this place will never get recommended to anyone i know.
Waiter forgot to put in our appetizer, didn’t bring butter or syrup for my Belgian waffle, didn’t ring up our drinks under the Happy Hour price so we had to get it fixed at the register, and just wasn’t really attentive.My beer was 3 months past the best by date.Also, 11.95 for a Belgian waffle with nothing on it and 3 sad slices of Taylor ham isn’t worth it. I don’t know if it’s the style in that area, but the Taylor ham wasn’t pan fried. It was practically completely pink with a few black grill marks on it. I wish I had gotten something else. My friends let me try their food (a Cuban and a beef empanada) and they were ok.
The food was great (⭐⭐⭐⭐). No problem there. However, I had major concern about the owner's unprofessional way they treated their employees. This person was rude, blatantly disrespectful, and plain right nasty. It was highly uncomfortable as a guest to eat and I do not want to support a business that does not respect nor show kindness towards their employees. If I were the employees, I would get the heck out and word of advice, do not ever, ever allow anyone to publically humiliate you. No job is worth it. Selah.
This place was the first place I ever waitressed.. I learned from a older lady there. I forget her name. But the owners and staff at the time were amazing.I remember one of the waiters his father was a cook. I wonder if it's the same owners..I learned so much there..It was probably 1997 or 1998 that I worked there.. many years later I still work at a diner but for 7 years now I've been the manager..(been here 13 years)I just want to thank the owners and everyone for teaching me...Is it still the same owners?
Traditional American diner, excellent service, great food, generous portions, spotlessly clean, will definitely return.
Food was edible. Disappointed with the service. Waitress was friendly, attentive and polite, but didn't bring plates with the appetizer course, condiments and sauces were only available after requesting them, which was after our food was served. I believe some adjustments in service would have created a better experience and earned more stars.
Experience not very good, I ordered a simple grilled cheese sandwich with tomato, the tomato they gave me in the sandwich was with the dirty part that is not for eaten, and the sandwich smelled of old food, like they cooked it without cleaning the grill, or they use a dirty rag to clean the grill, the bread smell very bad, the only thing the manager did cared about is that I paid, even if the food was bad, last time I eat at the Four Star Diner, the quality of the place went down ....... To the owner, I see your respond , I did address to you the situation, and how rude and unprofessional was your manager, you did not care and charge me the full amount for a horrible meal, not even if I get pay will set a foot in that filthy place, you fix the problem when the person is there, not when a person leaves a 1 star review...... to little to late.......
