Best tacos in town. Went for a quick visit to NY and stop by. We didn't regret at all!! Love it!
Oh, so yummy. Al pastor tacos were the best I've ever had. I would eat here everyday. It's a BYOB joint, so you can bring in your own beer. Since I can't get Yuengling where I live, it's what I brought.
They have online ordering which I always appreciate. There is lots of street parking but it can be tough to find a spot, so be prepared to walk a block or two. Fresh made food, you can see them cooking when you walk in! My chile rellons was underwhelming. But the beans stole the show. And the hot sauce they give you really is spicy. I would give them another chance with more of a taco style meal.
Ordered a few steak and carnitas soft tacos at my girlfriends suggestion. These are some of the best tacos I’ve ever tasted. Watched them finish cooking and packing the order. Great staff, great food, great potions, just great. Can’t wait to go back and try a burrito or a quesadilla or whatever else they serve since o don’t think you can go wrong with anything here.
No hyperbole - the best tacos I’ve had in NJ, and I’ve tried them all. Gueros, Benji’s, Folklore, Tacos La Gringa, etc. all pale in comparison to this place. I’ve never posted a review before, but Cemitas is that good. Highly recommended. Everything on the menu is delicious.
I came here on a Sunday with my family and the place gave me good vibes as i walked in and that's where it all end it. The food was soooo cold and dry and no flavor at all. I saw a roach after I eat. I wanted to throw up so bad. The place needs a good a scrub down and better tables so your food is not sliding all over the place. I will never come back.the pictures online looked soo good and I was sooo disappointed ?. The place has potential but not worth it at all.
Best Mexican food in Union City NJ for fare
This was my first time here as I was visiting from Florida and I have to say the food was absolutely amazing. From the chimichanga to the churros, I truly enjoyed every bite of it. I will definitely be returning here before my trip is over.
Best Mexican food around. Hands down! Glad I discovered this place a few weeks ago. We are now regulars.
