Get the chicken soup! Out of this world delicious. Everything we’ve had from Scotch Bonnet has been fantastic.
A MUST GO! In my opinion, LEGIT - THEE BEST Jamaican food in Mercer County and probably most of NJ! I’m a rather picky eater too, but they’ve never disappointed! Once, I called in a pick-up order at 7:50PM - & although they were closing at 8PM, she still took my order & the food was amazing, per usual.
Great food! Had oxtail, jerk chicken, curry chicken, Mac & cheese, Pigeon peas & rice (could use more peas), cabbage, and callaloo.Recommend calling ahead to place your order...it can take a little while.
This place needs their hours updated, saying they open at 10am. But when I showed up on different days at 10:30 or even 10:40, they still had the metal shutters over the door. Clearly they don’t open at 10 or anytime close to it.
The absolute best food in New Jersey… i love their steam fish with rice & peas and cabbage. All of the food tastes great ??
never tried jamaican food until i met my boyfriend, i’ve only tried the oxtail platter and the jerk chicken pasta from here, and they’re both amazing!! i was missing out for real! tried veggie/beef patties from other spots but this place takes the prize!
I ordered through Grubhub and I’ve had diarrhea since I ate it and threw out most of it away. Thirty dollars down the drain. I won’t be eating here again.
I think they have 2 chefs because food taste better on weekday evenings. Prices increased it portions are smaller. The small is now the large? I keep going because it's the only Jamaican spot I like in the area.
NEVER EAT HERE! This food is FAR from Authentic... No Flavor- No Season- Under cooked Jerk Chicken and Tough Oxtail! OVERPRICED and smaller portion- They serve LOTS of rice n peas with minimal Entrée- THIS WAS MY 1ST AND LAST TIME EATING HERE- ?
I had the Jerk Chicken with white rice and plantains. The food was great and the staff was friendly. Their Jamaican beef patties are the best!
