Great food &service. Tomato pie fabulous as well as chicken parm.,chkn caccatorie, lasagne. Salad crisp & fresh.First time there but will go back again.
I've been going here for several years now but have mostly only ordered pizza. Yesterday, my girlfriend and I decided to we wanted to try the Buffalo Chicken Stromboli and the Chicken, Spinach, and Provolone panini. The chicken in both sandwiches tasted so fresh and well-prepared. We were both so impressed. It feels like most local spots skip out on cooking fresh chicken and using fresh vegetables but that is not the case with this restaurant!
I’ve only been to this place one time so I can’t really say I’ve tried a lot on the menu, but I can say what I did try I believe was a Brooklyn style slice of pizza, the square one and not Sicilian. It was thin and was definitely an awesome slice.I do plan on visiting Salerno‘s III when I’m in the area again for sure. Maybe next time a slice and a cheese steak. Who knows.Definitely recommend you try this place.
We came to town to visit and wanted some good food but not fast food or fancy. Salerno’s was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The pizza was delicious, the homemade fries were flavorful, and the cannoli was scrumptious. The food was even good to the tough crowd (11 year old whose mind changes all the time on if something is good or not). I was pleasantly surprised with how reasonable the prices were too. Next time we’re in the area we’ll definitely be back.
Placed a large catering order for a TCNJ club and the food was amazing. They were on time, they catered to all the food restrictions that some of our guests had, and the food was delicious. They even provided sternos, plates, serving utensils, and more. The portions are also generous. Overall, so pleased. I'll recommend Salerno's to any TCNJ organization who is hosting a large event.
The service here is very good, both as dine in and take out and staff are very friendly. For take out, the delivery is very fast. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and the fries were a little underwhelming for me. Very thin, not seasoned well enough and not crispy. The sandwich was decent, good portion size. I ordered a "make your own" pizza so the flavours were good but the crust was a bit soggy and I had to use fork and knife to eat it. This is definitely better than the average fast food place and I would come back here but I wouldn't make a trip out here specifically for it.
New Jersey has a myriad of pizzerias. Salerno's is definitely one of the better and consistent places I've experienced. Whether you're hanging out with your friends or gaming all day, you can't go wrong ordering from here. Deliveries are always fast. Plus, they have good pasta and sandwiches too.
Our first time ordering and we'll be sure to thank our neighbor for the recommendation. Excellent Calamari and wings, Brooklyn pie and Meatball Parm sub. All delish! The chopped antipasto was fantastic too. Very friendly and quick delivery as well. Thanks!!!

Always a good meal whether pizza, calzone or entree. Extremely fast preparation so get there early if picking up/takeout. Excellent chopped antipasto! Just fantastic! Go and enjoy!!
