great food, friendly staff, bilingual staff, kid friendly menu
I placed a 90 dollar take out order. One of the items I ordered was a Cuban sandwich. It was a cold, unpressed ham hoagie. Everything was oversalted, over cooked and over priced . Portions were pretty small and sides were missing . The empanadas were inedible. After reading other reviews I will never bother trying again
The food was delicious and the servers very friendly. Nice general ambiance, decor and crowd. A bit overpriced. Billed higher than listed on menu. $12 for a small Tito's gin and tonic. Ouch.
Horrible. I went yesterday I ordered Camarofongo with camarones which on the menu is listed $18 and is coming with salad. Got served camarofongo dry and no ensalada on side and on the bill charged $27. Such a joke. My boyfriend order carne frita and got served Steak cut on pieces and fried. I have never experienced on any latin resturant such a bad taste food and the prices ripped off.I just regret not taking pictures of the food and the bill.

So glad to have discovered Sabor Latino. We are not quite up for going out to busy places, but have ordered 6 or 7 times from Sabor Latino. Each meal has been so well prepared, nice and hot when delivered and bursting with flavor. As a restaurant with purveyors from the Dominican Republic, they specialize in grilled meats and meat stews, though they also serve a variety of other meals are of different Latino influences. This includes Mexican, Costa Rican, and other hits of central America. Some of our favorites include a steak empanadas, chicken empanadas, oxtails, carne asada, any of their grilled chicken dishes, their boiled cassava, the fried plaintains. We have also enjoyed their goat stew, flank steak, and a few other meals. Each meal generally comes with a side of rice or cassava (it's hard to go wrong whether white, yellow rice, or cassava) and some meals come with a choice of a salad (A beet salad, pasta salad, or green salad). They also have options of Latin drinks that include horchata, passion fruit jice, jarritos brand soda, dominican sodas, and several other varieties. We've really enjoyed just about everything that we've ordered and hope to visit when we are more comfortable as it's bound to be even better in the restaurant. For delivery, we've had a few instances with some msitakes in orders, but we've gotten credits in cases where that occurs.
This place is beautiful!!! The music was fun, food was beyond amazing!! The staff was very friendly food came out very timely(quickly) no wait at all!! The owner met with us personal and recommend great food and drinks and the drinks are delicious!! Even played a happy birthday song for my husband and provided the desert at no cost to us!!!Very affordable cosy restaurant will be visiting again!!
Had an early dinner here for the first time; I've only ordered delivery in the past. There was no one else seated to eat but they did have people at the bar and deliveries were being picked up, so they were busy. We were greeted and sat immediately. We ordered the empanadas as an appetizer (one of each kind: beef, cheese, chicken)...they were good and served with mayo ketchup. I had the fried pork chops, yellow rice and sweet plantains (maduros)... It was served with a small salad as well. Everything was cooked well...I enjoyed it! The waitress was very helpful with my to-go order as well (they give you a lot of food). Please be aware that 15% gratuity is automatically added to your check if your order is over a certain amount no matter how many ppl are in your party.
Ordered Fajitas and they forgot to provide the tortillas. Called to ask what happened and they said next time specify to remember them. Basically I got served a tray of chicken, steak, and vegetables and was told the onus is on me to remind them to provide the tortillas.The food that did come didn't even taste good and was dry. There are plenty of other places that have a similar menu with much higher quality and customer service.
RUDE & OBNOXIOUS STAFF ESPECIALLY THE OWNERS WIFE WITH THE COLORED EYES. ITS LIKE SHES IN COMPETITION WITH THE FEMALE GUESTS. THE WAITRESSES ARE THE SAME WAY, IF YOURE A PRETTY FEMALE THE SERVICE WILL NOT BE AS GREAT !!!! MY GIRLS AND I WENT TO EAT DINNER FOR A FRIENDS BIRTHDAY, IT WAS 3 OF US THE FOOD TOOK ALMOST AN HOUR !!! SAFE TO SAY I WOULD N O T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE & WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN !!!!
