I am the permanent designated driver as I don't drink but my friends all say the selection and price are fine for alcohol. For me it is the atmosphere and the food. The meals are fine , with the burgers being a high point. They also have some fine music. Look them up online and if you are in the are stop by . You will not be disappointed
Joe's is an above average eatery for lunch in downtown Trenton. The daily specials are good. The soups are superb. And try the blackened chicken walnut salad!
Been going here for years will continue to do so. Simple food simple atmosphere but a good meeting place. Cannot say I've ever had a bad meal there, just never had an exciting one.
There were six of us in Trenton for the re-enactment of the Battles of Trenton on Saturday, December 31. We read about this place and as it was close to the Old Barracks, walked over to eat. As we approached, it was obvious the place was closed. I wish we had prior knowledge of that. We assumed that since there would be a lot of tourists in Trenton for the re-enactments, that this place would be open for business. It must be open only on weekdays for the courthouse crowd. There is no Not Applicable category to rate this place, so I picked Average across the board.
I enjoyed a tasty meal at the extensive bar, but they have plenty of table seating as well. Staff was friendly, and I look forward to visiting again for another meal. The place has cool historical decor as well.
This is one of the best places in central, NJ! Good food, great beer selection, and a chill atmosphere upstairs with music and even more craft brews downstairs. They have Game Show nights on Tuesday! You get to play a different game show every week with all your friends! It's the funniest day of the week!
Just a nice old neighborhood corner tappy. I’m sure if the walls could talk, there would be some great stories. The tin ceiling tiles and stain glass windows just add to the whole effect of the surroundings. Our server was friendly and efficient. We were there for lunch and walked away happy.
It's like the big scene at the end of Footloose, but instead of Kevin Bacon you've got punk rock and hip-hop.
I used to go here for years. What a great place. Very Cheers Like. I moved to LBI so I am not close now to do the Friday Shuffle IN.
This is hands down THE best place for music, art, top-shelf drafts, and food menu in the capital. This is home, with the cozy feels inside your heart. We need more places like this. However, like Highlander, there is only one; Mill Hill Saloon. Do yourself a favor. Ask your momma, tell a friend.
