I've only tried their fish sandwiches (the truth, the comeback) and while it's good the customer service sucks! I've tried to overlook it a couple of times but can't do it anymore. They answer the phone as if you're calling their personal line, not the business line. Would be great if they took more pride into being pleasant to their paying customers.
I had a friend whiting sandwich. They had a menu name for it but I can't remember it right now. I do know it was the #7. It was so very good. Not overly seasoned.
I just ordered the truth fish sandwich the fish soup and the Nubian wings with the honey mustard sauce omg that's going to be my main meal it was so delicious ?? thank you
This was absolutely unacceptable. For a hefty price, I got dry Mac and cheese, unseasoned dry fried chicken and unseasoned collards. The rice and gravy was terrible. Cheap, parboiled Uncle ben's style rice with watery, again, unseasoned gravy. Their theme. IMO. This was the worst soul food experience and I was very offended at the cost. I do not have a problem paying for taste but i don't feel like they cared about cooking quality food that day.
They up the prices every time I come there and I got Kool-Aid today and It had a medicine taste to it .all I got was a plain fillet with fries one cup of Kook-aid and a Shea butter that said it was 4$ they also have false advertisement in the store if you have a price on a wall for something that is what you should charge me for it but just for that it was 25$

I ordered Breakfast here for the first time. Food was good but the prices don't Mach the menu. The new price was almost double but the old price is still listed. They charge whatever they want. When you bring it to there attention no customer service is given to correct the situation. The chef says she will tell the owner but doesn't let you know the owner is standing a few feet away from you. I try to support my people as much as possible but we gotta due better.
I been eating there food for over 20 years. They are very clean and professional. The food is healthy and tasty.
The food was OK I think maybe because a lot of the food was running together so my rice and gravy started to taste like yams.. The greens didn't have a familiar taste wasn't bad just not well season to my liking. Salmon was a little overcooked so It was a little dry.. I ate everything I didn't throw it away so that was a good thing but it didn't scream come back.
