Beyond disappointed!!! Drove 25 mins to Hogback to get 3 hoagies for $31 which I do not mind if they are good. First off a hoagie that is over $10 dollars should have more than 1 piece of turkey & cheese, not only that it was 100% not Boars Head turkey. Only lunch meat we eat is Boars Head & the meat on this hoagie is not. I am extremely aggregated right now. I have been there once before & they were so good. We will never go back. This will be going into the trash because that is how bad the cheap meat is. I didn't even want to give it 1 star.
I am so disappointed in the way I was treated on Father's Day that I will never come here again. I ordered our father's day picnic lunch online with time for them to make it. When I went to pick it up, they did not see my name and asked what I ordered. I told them and even showed the confirmation email I got. They said their computer didn't print it out and we would have to wait 30 minutes for them to make it, because they were busy and it was Father's Day. THAT'S why I ordered it way ahead of time. I asked for a refund, which they did but with no apology. AT ALL. I could have been loud because by the time they figured out what happened there were at least 10 people behind us. But I did not make a scene.Customer service is EVERYTHING. I don't care how good your food is, if you don't treat me politely or apologize for YOUR mistake I will NEVER return, and I will let ALL of my friends know. A $60 dollar order is not pocket change.The ONLY reason I gave you one star is I could not post a review without one. YOU DON'T DESERVE IT.
This was the first time I ordered from Hogback. They were amazing, so friendly, the order was correct, perfect and so so good. I forgot to add something to my initial order so I looked at their website and used the “chat” button and added my item. They responded almost immediately and confirmed that it was added. I was very impressed and very pleased with the service. I HIGHLY recommend and the hoagies were fresh and so delicious. Thank you for making this stress and aggravating free. I’ll definitely come back to see you guys/girls on a regular basis ♥️
They have a beautiful seeded roll. The meat wasn't dried out... it was seasoned. I definitely recommend this place... the Italian hoagie was amazing to. Alittle pricey but amazing
Great selection of delicious hoagies and sandwiches. The hoagies are loaded so expect to either share a half or save it for later.
Ordered a jumbo sub platter from Hogback. It was great! Very generous on the cold cuts. They gave me all the condiments on the side like I asked for so everyone could dress their sub slice to their liking. Everything was fresh and ready on time.We’ve had subs from the Hogback Deli before but this was our first platter. It won’t be our last.
Gus and his team provide such a refreshing service & experience with an American classic. The sandwiches and hoagies served are plentiful and the right price. Only using Boar's head products, you are sure to receive the best quality of meat in the US. The deli is very clean and prepare your meal in front of you. Generous hours also make the establishment a great stop for a long journey or late work nights. Highly recommended for your New Jersey checklist.
My chicken tenders and fries we’re great! But my friend ordered an Italian hoagie , noticed the meat tasted bad so she stopped eating it. We called to let the workers know , hey you might need to check the meat it tastes old. What did they do? Just hung up on us. Unprofessional and unnecessary . Never coming back , sorry. Thats more than enough information on this deli.
hogback hoagies are huge...and delicious! but its not only their hoagies that are good, we have enjoyed burgers and paninis as wellI often get a craving for one of these and have to make the trip
Lots of sandwich choices hot or cold. Quality meat and cheeses. A bit pricey for a whole sub it's about 25$ depending on which variety you chose. The regular sub is about 10$. Personally there wasn't anything exceptional about what I had. I will go back to try a few more sandwiches and write a more detailed review. As for now just and ordinary sub shop that has really big but pricey subs.
