I used to come here all the time and would argue this is the best place to go period but something changed and the service dropped big time. It's almost impossible to get in here which is always a good sign that the food is good and it really truly is but when you do get in to eat, it shouldn't EVER take over 2 hours for your food to get to you. Oysters as an app took about 40 min to get to us which was bad enough but then 2 hours for our dinner. Our server blatantly ignored us and never addressed what was going on or why it was taking so long even though we made it clear that we were looking for answers. She didn't come to our table once after serving the oysters. She also gave us the oysters 40 min after ordering them without addressing why it took so long.... Everyone around us commented on us waiting that long too and said they probably never put our order in. We were livid. The problem is, it's always terribly slow now and it's always too loud. If you want to eat the food, order it to go and pick it up then you at least know when you are eating. The food here is top notch but the service is bad enough to make it 2 stars now.

Amazing food and hospitality and service. the frog legs were perfection with a peppery breading. the sushi and sashimi rolls were very tasty. the best ginger too! this is one of my new favorites when. visiting relatives.
Second time dining there, love it. It's a beautiful restaurant, staff was so nice and you could tell there is a lot of pride and care in their food and service! Highly recommend.

First time here and I have to type this is my fav sushi place in all of the Jersey. What a creative menu. Loved the bacon, cheese and egg fried rice! The tuna sticky rice excellent! Had the Kobe beef. Loved it. And then had three special rolls. All delicious. Steve was very nice who sat us and Sammy a great server. We’ll be back and so should you!
