The seating was quick, it seemed the owner himself was seating us which I don't see often anymore. Seems like he takes great pride in his establishment. Breakfast came out fast and hot. Food was on point with the flavor. The one part that was lacking which was the waitress was not very attentive. We were a family of 5 and a baby but the place was very busy so it's understandable. The owner was attentive though so that made up for it. Definitely a place to stop when coming to the shore or for any local. Though again, very busy.
Great diner! Food is excellent service is just as good and the place is clean and has been updated since my last visit. A must try if you love diner food!
One of the best places I have been in over 15 20 years this experience this time our waitress showed her true colors no leadership very rude to the bust girl who was accused of taking tips in across from us. I couldn't understand how you would accuse a coworker of stealing tips why hire a person like that if not to be trusted than embarrassed her in front of customers at ear shot..I was disgusted .. I stopped eating immediately. When we brought up the issue the older female host justified it it was a big table 150 bucks no tip..and we replied that happens sometimes how ever! they probably didn't have a tip to leave .how do you feel coming to work and in fear that you took tips from table we don't need the apology the bust lady does ! It kinda made me feel they embarrass her often and she doesn't speak English very well ..I didn't enjoy my breakfast as we always do..fix it ...you guys should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing anyone to accuse anyone from stealing ..than you need to reevaluate your team...
Came here with my family after a day at the beach and it was a nice little diner to make a quick stop at. I don't know what his name is but there was an older gentleman at the front that brought us the our table and was even walking around and serving people. Both him and our waitress were very kind and provided top notch service. It did seem like they were a tad understaffed. The food was also pretty good, I ordered the grilled cheese with fries and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Went there March 15 about 1pm. Not sure when this diner came under new ownership, but was very pleasantly surprised! Host and waitress were very nice and upbeat. Good selection on the menu. Went with the Turkey Club and it was huge. Cole slaw on the side was excellent and even though I'm not much of a French fries person, unlike many places the fries were cooked to a crisp perfection. Meal was reasonably priced and portions huge, only ate half and took half the sandwich home in a box for a snack later. Great work by the owner, as a top percentage Google local guide I would recommend and give five stars, highest rating!
haven't been here in years. glad I stopped in for breakfast. I come from Northwest Jersey and these home fries are the best. sunny side up eggs were done perfectly. waitress was fantastic. good price. nice lunch menu also. my niece had a vegetable omelette that was very very good. coffee kept flowing.

Second time eating at this diner and it is definitely better than the Crystal Diner (any diner is) and has decent diner food. Problem is the manager has zero PR skills and needs a course in hospitality.Worst part was server took order for bacon as side with breakfast and sausage was brought. Kitchen made the error and plated the sausage with the eggs and pancakes. Server comes back with bacon and say you have to give back sausage if you want bacon according to manager. So with already used fork and eaten off of plate sausage is returned, hmmm is sausage reheated and served to another costumer or is manger that lacking of PR skills that he is throwing out sausage??? It was their mistake! Would never eat there again because I suspect that sausage was reserved to other customers !
