This place is a foodies delight. The atmosphere compliments the service and is all perfected by the utterly impeccable fare. The blend of tastes in every dish are delicious excellent creative and memorable.And the pricing is not only fair, it’s so worth it. Great great restaurant with great staff and none of the frills at other restaurants. But most of all, every dish is a masterpiece.
Last night we hosted a Rehearsal Dinner for our son and fiancé ❤. The Serenity Cafe Event Coordinator, Sam, was excellent every step of the process. She was there to attend to our every need. Chef Greg gave excellent recommendations for entrée options as we choose a family style dinner for 24 people. I highly recommend this best kept secret of Ocean County to anyone hosting a private party.
The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was peaceful and nicely appointed The food and service were very good. I plan to dine there again.
Dined out for the fourth time here last night with friends. The service is exceptional, Heather, our waitress is absolutely wonderful and we will request her every time. The foods fantastic, serenity Café is a hidden gem. If you know about it you will frequent there because it’s absolutely wonderful and it’s very consistent. Great job serenity
I went last night to dinner with my brother and sister in-lawFirst time I have been here I was celebrating my birthday.The food was amazing as well as the staff. Had a GREAT TIME!!!My brother is a foodie and always looks for Great places to eat. This place is now on his list. I can tell you that we will definitely be back.
We were there Friday night anf the food was great. everybody loved the rice balls, please keep them on the menu. The chicken dish was really good, that would be a great addition to your standard menu. Great Job!
Let me start by saying our waitress and server were excellent, after that it went downhill. I ordered a "special" , the ribeye over grilled onions topped with a cheese sauce, sounded and looked great, unfortunately it wasn't as I never got to eat it. The first time it came out it was rare and cold inside, I order medium, so it went back and within 1 minute it was brought back out and was still jelly, so again I sent it back and stated I ordered medium and it was cold and jelly like. The third time I recieved my meal it was a new steak, I cut it while the server waited at the table and again it was raw and cold inside. I had the waitress take it off the bill and I finished my wine and left. I will say the waitress was very apologetic and it was not her fault at all, she offered to get me another meal but my wife was 3/4 of the way done with her meal, pointless, the most disturbing thing was after three tries and me having the meal removed from the bill nobody came to talk to us, no manager, owner or chef, this is disappointing as everyone seamed to be enjoying thier meals. This is why I will not go back and try another meal, the lack of caring by the establishment, once again thank you to our waitress for trying and caring.
I hosted my mom's 50th birthday party here last night in their private party room and everything was absolutely perfect! Food is always my #1 priority in an event, and Serenity Cafe totally delivered. It was great that I got to totally customize the menu and guests raved about every dish. We did family style and the food was endless and delicious. I also have to give a shout out that the chocolate mousse cake they made in house was some of the best mousse we ever had! Guests kept asking where I got the cake. Any leftovers were also packed up for us to take home which was so appreciated (I had more pasta at midnight, yay!). The staff here are so helpful - all my questions were answered timely leading up to the event and day of, service was spectacular. Lastly, the party was priced at a very reasonable rate and they allow you to BYOB ? My mom was so thrilled with the event and I would highly recommend Serenity Cafe to anyone for an event or even just dinner since the food is scrumptious!
Thank you for a wonderful New Years eve dinner...It was a fixed menu but the selections were great....Tables were well spaced for safety. Service was great and food was fantastic... I had the seafood pot pie and my wife had veal chop....The owner should be very proud of the staff and food...
We picked up dinner for 4 I would have given 5 stars but Turkey was dry. But all and all a good meal. I just came out of surgery on the 24th so ordering was an awesome idea. Thank you serenity cafe
