We ordered over 100.00 worth of food on cinco de Mayo 2022. And I was thrilled with the food. So much food, and so well prepared. Paella was amazing enough for 3 meals. Hot, yummy! And the tacos were perfect to order. Teenagers don’t like allot of stuff we asked for specific toppings and you came through! Thank you for making amazing food. We will be back! Yum!
Had dinner with my family at Ortega’s tonight. Understand that today was Cinco De Mayo and most Mexican restaurants are probably busy. I’ll give them that. When getting there, although quite busy, we were seated almost immediately. Then we had a long wait for the menu, and silverware. After ordering, not complaining about the amount of time it took for our food to come out But when it did arrive to our table, portions of each of our plates, the food was cold! Sending it back, some came out better and another still cold! Didn’t want to complain again. As some was appetizing, it also was not very good! Additionally, our waitress seemed to not understand the best English. Will think again about returning to this restaurant. What was… it’s convenient to where we live. Against my husbands wishes, I still left a good tip, but should I have! You decide to frequent this establishment yourself…
My mom and I have been trying to find a good local Restaurant in our area. I had to try this for my birthday and man the food blew me away. The salsas tasted so fresh. My Al pastor burrito was seasoned so well and honestly one of the best ones I’ve had in YEARS! Can’t wait to go back to try to chilaquiles. Thanks again Ortega❤️❤️
The guacamole was aweful. Obviously they used unripe avocados. Tacos had no flavor.
My husband and I came here for dinner. He ordered the burrito and I had the enchiladas. Surprisingly both entrees looked just like the pics on the menu. The food was excellent!! Staff was very nice as well. While we were there, about 4 customers came in to pick up pre-ordered beautifully decorated 2 tiered cakes. Very impressive!! The only thing that would have made our experience more pleasant was if it was warmer inside and if they turned off the tv and played Mexican music instead (at least for dinner service).

Food was delicious and authentic! Also pan dulce (Sweet bread) was so fresh and soft. Not dry at all!

Called to place an order for pickup and had to repeat myself several times to correct her when she repeated things back to me. Got there to pick things up and was told they were out of two things we had ordered. Had to wait longer for the food than we were told on the phone despite the place being empty. Then we got the food and went out to the car where I checked everything because I felt like the bags didn't have enough in them. I was right. I had ordered four soft tacos and four hard tacos but instead received six soft tacos so one order was missing entirely and one order was wrong. I went back in and had to wait for them to make new tacos and correct the mistake with zero apology. Will not be going back.
