Absolutely one of the best - if not the number one best bagel place in Toms River! Their bagels are always fresh & delicious! The staff is so friendly and they always go above & beyond with every order to make sure it’s exactly how we ordered it, how we like it & there’s not any mix ups or mess ups. Their other breakfast food is also beyond amazing & don’t even get me started on their sandwiches! Delicious, fresh, filling & I can’t say enough about how amazing everything New York Water Bagel Co. has to offer!
Went this morning and ordered 3 bagels. One with plain cream cheese and other two with the flavored cream cheese. Both flavored cream cheeses were sour. Tasted so bad I was afraid if we ate we would get sick. So disappointed. This place used to he excellent. When i called to let them know the girl had no clue what to say to me. We will not be goung back!
This is a spectacular bagel place. Got a bacon egg and cheese in a poppy seed bagel lightly toasted. It’s was perfect. Came out hot and fresh. Delicious melted cheese and bacon. Bagel had good crunch and doughyness. Poppyseeds in perfect amount, not coated too heavy.Just reading other reviews now about the Taylor ham and flies — I’m surprised because I had no issues at the store today! Came in at 1pm, ordered right away and took a seat, didn’t see a single fly. I am definitely returning.
Best bagel I had while visiting NJ (and I tried quite a few bagels). This was the perfect amount of crunch on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. On top of that, the bagel dough was the ideal amount of salt/savory for me. This is the best bagel I've ever had!
Wiszh I could score it higher, the food and bagels are good, but the overall service is rough. Often times there phone is off the hook or they answer and put you on hold never to talk you off hold. The wait times when you go in an order are usually extremely long (for a bagel store).
This is now the third time I've ordered from here in the past month and they've gotten the order wrong on one or more of the many sandwiches we ordered! They unfortunately have a hard time running a business properly, especially when it comes to customer service and preparing accurate orders. When placing my latest order, I asked them to read back each of the 4 sandwiches and I made it clear that the one sandwich cannot have cheese on it. Well surprise surprise, the sandwich had cheese. I called back 12 times but the phone was busy, but I was able to speak to someone on call number 13. She picked up, said immediately "Hold On' and placed the phone down for 4 MINUTES, then when she came back on I explained that the sandwich was incorrect and that I needed the correct sandwich to be made. We drove another 10min back to there to pick up the correct sandwich, to which she actually CHARGED us for it. She said per her manager, they had called to go over the order and we did not reiterate no cheese on the second call, therefore its our fault and we have to pay for the replacement.While you may think this is just one bad review, let me remind you that we own a local business that typically ordered once a week and now none of us will be ordering anymore.
Pork roll egg and cheese on a scooped everything. Seems easy right? Nope! I got what looks like pieces of spam, cheese not melted, eggs cold, and bagel not scooped! Never again! Last time I got a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant and it was a soggy sloppy mess and bacon was chewy and raw.
Used to really like this place but they need a cook who can read and... cook. My porkroll is always raw.EDIT: Was a long time customer im talking YEARS and ill never come back after today. I asked for my porkroll well done. First get it raw. Then the cook has the audacity to BURN THE PORKROLL. BURNT IS NOT WELL DONE. good bye.
A nice everything bagel to take home and put cream cheese on.
They Need to cook the meat a little more and the bacon tasted reheated.
