After going to Chang Thai an amazing pad Thai place next door to this lobster spot for years , I finally gave mystic lobster a try yesterday. I ordered the "specialty" lobster Mac n cheese and the BLT lobster roll ..... Total was nearly 50 dollars , the Mac and cheese was better at outback and cheaper and bigger . The lobster roll was the SMALLEST thing I've ever purchased for 25 dollars , words can't even describe, I will never be going back and honestly do not know how this little place remains in business still after robbing all the local residents
Always heard how great this place was so we thought we'd check it out, (with a lot of excitement)I don't know if we came at the wrong time but the sandwich met none of my expectations, very rubbery/dry meat, the bread was also rubbery, barely any butter on it, and I'm pretty sure the pickle they gave me was bigger than the sandwich itself... I always heard it's a hefty sandwich but when we got home and opened the boxes I laughed at just how tiny they were. Very disappointed with the whole experience and I don't see myself giving them another shot for 20$ a roll
I've always bought here and love the place. It always clean! I wanted to show off these lobster sandwiches, But for some reason it was not that impressive as before; the taste was not as attractive as other times. My guest and I did not have much to brag about as before.
Everything tasted delicious but looking back at some old pictures of the place the rolls used to be so much bigger mine looked like it was for a child.. however everything did taste delicious even the cole slaw was super fresh!
Get the Mediterranean Roll!! Omgeeee IM IN LOVE. It gas yellow curry and coconut on a lobster roll. Sounds crazy but I PROMISE YOU!! ITS TO DIE FOR!!!
I wish I would have wrote this earlier but I was going in for surgery last month. It’s very hard to come across an owner with so much compassion as Rachel has. When there was a problem at another location she stepped up and fixed it, did not weigh the value of the dish but the value of the costumer! And her dedication really reflects in the quality of the food we have always received at the Toms River Location. She is a true leader! Thank you from my wife and I. My husband and I pass this place every day and we finally stopped there and I got the Maine lobster roll and it was amazing!! Next time we are going to get the white cheddar lobster mac and cheese
