I ordered catering from here and it was so great so I was excited to order takeout. It was disappointing because the ingredients were not fresh and the flavors didn’t compare to our catering order which was great. Consistency is so important in a restaurant. Rice was mushy, Steak was chewy, burrito was mostly rice and the tomatoes in the guac weren’t even red they were pretty much pink. The prices are way too high for the quality. I hope they read the reviews and take this as constructive criticism because they are clearly capable of good quality.
We catered for our sons first birthday party and everything was outstanding! We know there are new owners and we were very excited that the quality is still excellent. They went above and beyond with our order and everything was delicious. We will definitely be ordering again and eating in when we have the chance ?

Who doesn't love a locally owned, Mexican restaurant? Out server was thoughtful and present. Chile rellenos were juicy and flavorful. Torta? Cheesy and succulent. Definitely try dessert! Anything with banana is A+
Had lunch there today and didn’t realize they reopened with new ownership. Food was on point! Had a smothered burrito with Al pastore and it was great! Roberto was very accommodating and friendly. Will def go back!

Their food is excellent, but their shrimp burritos with Oaxaca cheese is phenomenal! Best in Toms River!

1st time visiting after hearing it was good. Stopped in for some takeout. Ordered a chicken burrito, chicken enchiladas, & some chicken tacos. All was delicious! Young man at counter was very polite. Order was made quickly & packed well for ride home. Prices are very reasonable. Authentic Mexican food for sure. Nothing overdone. Just plain delicious! We will definitely return!!!
First time there. Really, not bad. Hugh portions. If you're used to americanized mexican food then this will be an adjustment. This is authentic mexican food, so it will be a little different then what you get at Chili's, Spicy in Seaside and other chains. Small quaint place but very friendly staff. Suggest you go online to look over menu first to get an idea of what's offered. Definitely going back to try other food items.
