I have lived down the street from this Manhattan since I was little. Never had a bad experience until the past 2 weeks. My husband got me a bagel with butter last week and the butter had gone bad. It was foul and chunky. It was a one off so I didn’t think twice about going back but I wasn’t getting the butter this time. Now this week we got breakfast sandwiches and there were eggshells all in mine. I don’t know who has taken over but It’s really been quite terrible lately. Very sad because I go here weekly
great bagels, bacon egg and cheese, lux, Ellis Island pastrami are my favorites. Never had any problems with them.
This place was absolutely awful order bagel and lox the lox was not fresh! This is fish we're talking about people a bagel is hard as a rock went back in to get a new order on the second order came out the cream cheese was cross-contaminated with somebody else's order there was something in my cream cheese that shouldn't have been there once back in again in front of everyone and received my money back very poorly managed.
Owner is always on site very good service they care about their product
Was just in there and got a porkroll egg and cheese asked for salt pepper ketchup always and it’s not on it you will never see me again
What a pleasure to walk into a place early in the morning and see friendly happy smiling faces. All the food is made in the house and it’s quite delicious. This was my first visit here, and I will certainly be back many times.
