This is the second time that what I asked for was not what I got . I came in June13, 2022 @ approx 6pm. I ordered a reg #11 Mike's way. I asked for light oil and extra vinegar. The was only one other customer in the shop besides me. I went to the rest room while they made my sandwich. When I returned to the counter I paid and left a tip. When I got home I discovered that the sandwich was swimming in oil and there was no vinegar on it at all. This is the second time that this has happened to me. I'm really disappointed about this because I travel past one other Jersey Mike's to cometo this shop. Because I never had a bad experience before the last to times one June 3, 2022 and today June 13, 2022. I could possibly understand if the store was busy but I was the one of two people in there. I may have to go to the other store I normally pass by to come to this store. Disappointed with this store.
The employees are always great, but I eat a lot of subs from a lot of locations some Jersey Mikes. The last 2 times I went here the subs did not have very much meat and the lettuce was turning like how lettuce turns into weird zombie lettuce when it passes prime. The bacon is also a gamble at Jersey mikes, sometimes it is good, sometimes it is old, dry, and small. Jersey mikes makes good tasting subs normally, but the value is just not there and there is basically the amount of meat equivalent to wawa. If you are hungry I don't think this is the place, a giant sub will not feed me and my older son thoroughly. The last time I bought 2 giant subs Italian and club sub for me , 14yr, and 15yr sons we ate all but 1 piece and my 14yr old doesn't eat very much he had 1 piece(1/4) of a sub. I will only be going to sub doctors on rt37 from now on unless I am out of town. Then I will probably go to wawa over Jersey Mikes mostly because the inconsistency brings the value way down when you get a bad sub at jersey mikes.
As regular customers of Jersey Mike's (Hooper Ave, Toms River), we were very disappointed that store was CLOSED at 7:35 pm on Sun, Oct 31, 2021. Posted hrs state Open til 9 pm... WTH? The location just lost our biz. Lots of competition in the area!!!
i really like this location when i want jersey mikes bc i always feel satisfied leaving. everyone is always super kind. virginia was able to help me find something new to try this time since i had some dental work done, and was super friendly and helpful! i got the turkey provolone and was nervous about the bread being tough but it was literally perfect!!!!
Love their subs....especially the Chipotle cheesesteak
Normally, I love this place, the food and the employees. But tonight was definitely different, I came in 15 minutes to closing. I specially asked for a basic Philly cheesesteak/ yellow American/ NO PEPPERS. So, I guess the girl was post off that she would have to clean the grill one more time? I finally get my sandwich ... EVERY STYLE PEPPER chopped into nice small pieces !! I felt so bad about being the last order , I tipped 100%!?!! That’s just me. I know what your gonna say, maybe it was a mistake. Nope. She heard enough to put yellow American. This was a downright jab. So yea thanks a lot. I will make sure to never order from this person again.

Jersey Mike's is popular for making sandwiches "Mike's way" which means they drown your sub in oil and vinegar which makes the bread soggy but flavorful. If you do not get it this way you realize the bread is tough and flavorless and the meats are 'meh.' I will occasionally get a sandwich from here out of convenience but in my opinion it is nothing special.
I will overall say Jersey Mike’s gets five stars for me… The only reason I’m giving it one star is because they’re gluten-free bread is absolutely disgusting! Even with vinegar on it it was absolutely dry and disgusting complete waste of money!!!!
The staff were very helpful and friendly . Sub was made to perfection. Thanks guys!
