Have ordered from Hunan Gardens for years and always returned. After today I will NEVER return ! So disappointing the food was not good . The boneless spareribs were rewarmed and had the texture of beef jerky. The sesame chicken was dry and hard and the egg roll was over done and seemed rewarmed . The wonton soup had no taste just broth and wontons . Every thing I tasted was worse then the one before I kept hoping it was just a one time mistake but I just kept getting disappointed especially that I had guests over. The restaurant opens @ 12 on Sunday I called 12:30 after 4 times calling they finally answered and said the order will take an hour because they are setting up they just opened ….. ugh maybe they should get there earlier if they are “open for business” even that I could have over looked but the food was unacceptable ! So very disappointed in this neighborhood restaurant. I will Not return.
It was good when we first started to go there but not so much now. Last week the food was mediocre with the exception of the fried rice which is still better than other Chinese food take out. This week, the food was down right awful. Vegetable bean curd soup was made with no vegetable but bean curd and CHICKEN----no so good for my vegetarian daughter. The other dishes were so oily they were practically inedible. I guess we'll going there for fried rice only and then only if we are passing by. Not worth the trip even from 2 streets away.
Food is good , prices are high and going higher.You are paying full price for take out food ,plus getting extra Noodles is a No, No . Small wanton soup 3 wantons..
Placed an order. They forgot 1 item of the order. When I called to let them know she told me I had come and get it they couldn't deliver. Will never go back plenty of other places to go
First time ordering from them , it was excellent, soup great, dinners awesome would offer again

I did my last order today been going to this restaurant since it opened, an hour and 20 minutes and nothing but lies from the girl behind the desk canceled my order and they lost a good customer.
If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered a $100 worth of Chinese and didn't give me our sweet and sour chicken. The lady was super rude said I didn't charge you. I a aid its ok just charge me and send me the sweet and sour chicken she said no you gotta order $15 worth. The food taste like garbage and under cooked. Do not waste your time there.
Beat Chinese takeout in Toms River. There food has so much flavor and there beef on the stick and spare ribs are amazing!! I also love there egg drop and wonton soup. They have the best beef and well marinated.
Found a fly in my dinner, disgusting. I will never eat here again
