Omg tried to order for two orders they said was $80 omg they said prices went up just ordered from Dynasty same amount of food $36.
Ordered 2 orders of sweet and sour chicken today for lunch. Chicken was totally dry. Very disappointed
I have ordering here for over10 years and never disappointed. My favorite menu item is the spicy wontons, good portions and tasty. Nice variety of entrees and not skimpy on the.meat.
Stopped by and thought I would bring lunch home with me and I asked for ribs on the lunch special and I was told that I couldn't get unless I paid thee dollars more so I said that I would try the boneless ribs and asked if they were tough and she said they were good. I was hungry when I got home and immediately ate and boy was I disappointed. As tough as shoe leather. I had asked when the restaurant was going to open up for dinner and she replied that it was unlikely to open again. I now can understand why it not opened for full service, you need to serve good food to be successful so they didn't deserve one star but the serve was nice and I felt bad for her.
Poor quality meat dark purple coloring inside chicken. The sauce was thick, did not look house made nor fresh.Wonton has very little meat inside, Soup is nothing but water flavorless.Prices did not match the photos.
Very good person very nice so is food good
Great place, cant wait for it to open for indoor dining again, but good take out in the meantime
I wish I would have taken the other posters advice and went somewhere else..Unfortuately all the other Chinese restaurants in Toms River are just as bad..Once upon a time I used to get a decent meal at Hey Birds, in the strip mall where Big Lots is but that was many years ago..The best Chinese food I ever had in my life believe it or not was in England..Everytime I read a review for any of these places you'll always see people saying "it's the best I've ever had"..and all I can think is that these people either have never been anywhere outside of Toms River and or they just have peasant taste buds..lol..These Chinese restaurant owners will continue cooking their bland, tasteless, chewy broccoli, rubbery chicken/shrimp until people stop patronizing these places..
So after craving Chinese for months we decided to try an old time favorite... except it wasn’t Golden Gate anymore... well to say we were disappointed is an understatement... we ordered a variety of different things and everything was disappointing. Don’t waste your time, or money.
First visit and was very good. Added bonus of Chinese noodles, haven't had them in years. Will definitely be our new go to.
