this place went down hill. used to be our go to place but the last few times the chicken and beef dishes were just gross. dry chewy protein. service was good but someone in our party never even got their food!! we were a big party too. unacceptable.
Awesome little diner . Good food / good service
We passed this gem of a restaurant and noticed how busy it looked with all the cars parked outside. The building used to be an old Shoprite as evident in the structure. The ambiance inside was very cozy with the dim lighting, wood and pleather booths and warm red wall paint colors. Our server didn't rush us to order and gave me a suggestion to order a different side for my porkchops and I should have listened. My smothered porkchops came with mashed potatoes that was buttery, creamy and you can taste the it's homemade. But the steamed vegies were limp and tasted like it was from a can. The barley soup and broccoli and cheese soup were so phenomenal, we got a pint to go. The french fries tasted made from scratch and the fish was breaded to perfection. They also have a bakery that I can't wait to try. I will definitely come back for the sirloin steak special. Highly recommended!
First time. Just had burgers and fries. Service was good, it was reasonably priced, feel you need to try a diner 5 or 6 times before you can fairly review it. But no reason not to go again.
Quick and conscientous service by louie who is amazingly energetic. Consistently good food. My wife and i shared amazing cinnamon pancakes. Reasonable prices in an obnoxiously escalating world..
It is our go to place for many reasons. Such a diverse menu and I have had half the menu and everything is delish. Fast friendly service!
A amazing family owns establishment always go to spot when we need a meal Joe and family are amazing
Popped in during our break for a quick bite to eat. Staff is friendly and the place has a steady crowd in and out. The coffee is good and robust. The sausage is thick cut and full of flavor. However the steak Benedict was abysmal. Tasted like the steak was boiled not one sear mark and came out well done. I asked for deep fried home fries and got inedible fries.
I would have to say three and a half stars. The coffee was better than bad but not good enough to be good. I guess about what you'd expect from a diner. The eggs benedict we ordered were unfortunately overcooked, all four eggs two for me and two for my friend. We were told that the cook that day tends to overcook the eggs. I don't get that. Why not tell him not to poach eggs too long? The people are great the seats are mostly comfortable so I would give them 3.5 if I could
Excellent food and service for Sunday dinner!
