Only place I know that has cheese fries on the menu and when you order them they literally took a slice of cheese and laid it on top of fries.
I don't know how this place is getting all these good reviews maybe it's friends and family writing them. The so called meat loaf is processed meat which was disgusting. The 3 pork chops were so tough they couldn't be eaten and the steak I got was so tough I had to chew it forever to be able to swallow it. However the greek gentleman and cakes were the positive.
Food is great. The people are better.

Natalie took great care of me, checking in to make sure I had what I needed. Ordered the open faced Ruben with pastrami - best sandwich ever!
Food was sub par and that's being generous. Service was slow even though the place was mostly empty, which should've been a warning sign. Also, besides being slow, the service was also quite awful. What a waste of good architecture and decor. Anyways, Sonic 2 was good, you should go see it.

Friendly staff, breakfast came quick in a busy environment, refills on the coffee. Eggs benedict was good, but for me breakfast is all about the home fries, anyone can make an egg all taste the same. They just were thin potatoes with no flavor...hmmm maybe next time they can suggest onions and peppers to be added.
My wife and went for lunch at the Diner on Thursday, March 10, 2022, previous solicitation at this eatery was about 3 years ago. It was O.K. back in 2019, thought we would try it again as we were on our way to the Ocean County Mall, big mistake. I order a grilled chicken sandwich, I got to large chicken breast, with a tomato slice and a leaf of lettuce on a rock hard roll. it was open face because you could not close the sandwich to eat. I tried cutting the roll with my knife while holding with my fork, the fork bent. The chicken breast was tough and tasteless. No need to go into detail about what my wife had (BLT on a roll) she gave that "tasty" dish 3 stars. Service was mediocre at best, regardless I still left a 20% tip. My bill for BLT and a chicken sandwich was $25, I know prices are up all over the place, I guess we will have to move to my least favorite, fast food, for lunches.
Love coming to Jersey for the diners. I love in Florida and come up to visit my son. Diners are the only place I allow him to take me for lunch. They food is so good and there is plenty on your plate. You don't leave feeling that you should have more food. It was so good.
