I ordered dinner from the menu on line. All fine and good. When the order came they took 74 out of my account which in my mind by going over the prices on line is about 10 more! I called them they said the prices are wrong! Then you should fix them i am going by that price so i can afford it. Then 2 delivery which ok i see. Then a little over 2 for using my debit card!!! That’s crazy!! And the chicken was horrible for that price. The legs wheee like a farrow and the chicken coating was dark like it was fried twice. I ordered 16 pieces of chicken and only 3 small pieces where white meat the rest leg and wings!! That is unacceptable!! I will never order from them again. They did nothing for me when i called. At least something because i was not happy!!
- I'll admit I was skeptical at how good it would be going in. The place looked more like a takeout place than a traditional "Chicken Shack." Boy am I glad I stayed. I got an order of whole wings (buttermilk fried chicken not buffalo wings) and they were FANTASTIC. Best I've had in the area so far... I visit a lot of fried chicken places in North Jersey and this is the closest I've gotten to that kind of flavor. The menu looks fantastic and we will most likely be ordering from there over the summer when people are over.
I came here a couple of times but me and some other people that got food together really didn't care for the chicken so much cuz the chicken is very oily and as you're eating the oil is dripping out of the chicken. So we won't go back here anymore.
please do not eat at chicken town the food was put inside a paper plate with another plate on top it was stapled the food was disgusting. The person who answered the phone did not want hear a complaint he is as disgusting as the food.
We love this place. we usually pick up chicken and sides from here on our way home from the beach. But not only then. The young one in the home constantly requests it, Including on her birthday! Super bowl and big game fare is always from here as well. As for why????? here's what we love:1) the chicken is the most tasty, hot and juicy that you will find anywhere in this state.2)Deep fried mushrooms that absolutely melt in your mouth and taste awesome3) Onion rings are the best tasting and juiciest that you will find anywhere4) Mac & Cheese bites (always requested by the young one) are awesome!5) Wings are ample sized meaty and obviously as good the chicken mentioned above6) the cole slaw is the perfect texture and balance of sugar vinegar and mayo. None better anywhere7) Ribs are fall off the bone tender and juicy8) THE SERVICE- Owner Eddie always has a friendly smile and is glad to see you there. Other staff as well. When we call in our order ahead of time everything is packed up and ready to go hot fresh and ON TIME. No standing around or waiting. There's no need to say we'll be back because we always are :)You will be never disappointed.

Food is fresh and very good. Prices are a little high but quite honestly worth the money. Service is pleasant especially for a take out restaurant. If in the area you must try it. Especially the manager special
I have eaten Chicken town before so I know their menu pretty well. I was on their website today and was deciding what to order. I decided to call and order the buffalo wing dinner priced at $12.50 for pick up. I arrived to pick up the food and the guy at the counter charged me $18.50 plus tax!! I said this must be wrong and the man began to talk about the cost of chicken blah blah blah. 50% price increase? Are you mad? I know prices are going up all over but come on. I paid it because I hadn’t eaten all day. I will NEVER order there again and I will share my story with my local coworkers. In hindsight, I should have left the food at the counter because they weren’t that good anyway. I make better fried wings in my house. Bye-bye Chicken Town. Buyer beware. Get a price before you get ripped off.

We ordered chicken for the first time last night and it was great! We had a party at our house and everyone raved about your chicken! When I picked up our order I witnessed the fresh batter dipping and pressure frying process; very cool!Thanks again for the good directions from Lavallette! I would drive there again in a heart beat for your chicken!
