I actually had a delicious meal. I went there with a few friends and everybody was happy with their dishes. I had chicken sorrentino and I got to say it was really good. The prices are average. They also have a bakery in the front and you can get Italian cookies , cheesecakes, and some other kinds of Italian cakes. The place is a little hidden it's in the back of shopping center and can't really be seen from route 37. I highly recommend to try this place out.
Extremely DISAPPOINTING experience tonight. Saturday night, 6:30 reservation. After 45 minutes, I had to go to the hostess stand to ask who our server was. No server even glanced at our table. Once the server took our order, it was more than 45 minutes more before we got our salad. More than 40 minutes more before we got our dinners. We were very patient, up to a point. We spoke with the manager, who smiled and laughed as we told him about our excessive wait. There were other tables in the same position. The food is very good (Cathy’s Pasta and lamb chops), but 3 hours for a salad and an entree is ridiculous.
All 9 of us had delicious, generous meal portions last night! Joan was such a friendly and personable waitress! Thank you also to the rest of the fine staff!
the chicken savoy was gross and tasteless. must have been drowned in about a half a bottle of balsamic vinegar with 4 mini roasted potato halves drenced in balsamic. the chicken was microwaved. chicken parm sauce was tasteless. the salads were wilted and going bad.my order was to go.big dissapointment!!
Everyone was so nice! We had great service, the food was delicious.I would definitely recommended Kathy’s.
Last night we went to Cathy's for the first time but it definitely will not be the last. We had the best time. Food was great, even beyond great and their patrons were all extremely friendly. Your meal was not rushed and you weren't sitting on top of one another. Tables were spaced to ensure some privacy. They had a singer "Joe Leo" who not only had a good voice but a very pleasant personality. One song after another and each a gem. I truly can't say enough wonderful things about Cathy's including the service was perfect, room was clean and all that good stuff. Next time your looking for a very casual FUN time with good food and generous portions think "Cathy"
First time at Cathy's Ristorante. Extremely impressed. The the food was delicious, the restaurant is deceiving from the outside. I couldn't believe how huge it was inside. Four large rooms and entertainment on the weekends, too.The portions were very large, I had the meatballs and ricotta with sauce for an appetizer followed by the house salad. The dressing was great.I had the breaded veal chop parmesan with spaghetti for the entree.Not only did the veal chop melt in my mouth, it was delicious. Everything, the sauce, too. The chop was so huge, it was hanging off the very large oval dish. Everyone at our table was impressed with the food and portion size. For dessert, you enter their bakery and pick out your choice for dessert. That, plus a nice cup of coffee. Wonderful.Our waiter Rene was terrific. Not only was he very knowledgeable of everything on the menu, he was very personable and efficient.Definitely will be going back.
3 HRS ON A Saturday NIGHT. 3 Out of the 4 entrées were great. I orderedveal Milanese. Zero quality control, it was so over cooked I tried to cut it and it skid across the table. Sent it back. The waiter was gracious took it off the bill. I was not going to order something else and eat while the others were finished. Huge restaurant not enough help in the kitchen I guess.
My family has been there many times and each time we had consistently great dishes. Both the specials and regular menu offerings keep us coming back for more. Highly recommended by my whole family!
