Excellent burgers great place to chill
Had the Friday night prime rib special. There was something not quite right about the prime rib. Almost seemed too tender but not in a desirable way.The dessert was excellent though. It was a brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and an Oreo whipped cream. That was heavenly.It was a really large portion. My friends went home with leftovers. I plowed through it but was really stuffed.
I’m giving 2 stars because the food was a bit better than friendlys and that’s not saying much. We have frequented BJ’s twice in the past 30 days and still the same dysfunctional front end staff acting as if this is a boys and girls club rather than a place of employment. 1 waitress was actually 6 months pregnant running circles around employees much younger than her. When confronting the manager who seemed more of a mattress salesman told me he just hired 10 people. Well those 10 never showed up because the service is worse than a McDonald’s drive through on training day of a soft opening in Iraq. Fire the manager hire a real one fix the front of the house before you lose your shirt from poor management.
I've already been addressed by management that they will do better next time and to let management know if this happens again in the future but it should still be known so others can do the same if they need to. The food here is pretty good and wait staff is always great but the amount of times I've gone here and the restaurant has a ton of open seating but we are stuck waiting forever to sit without explanation, or we go to the bar and there is nowhere to sit so we ask to use a high-top only to be told people "may" come in and ask to sit there for dinner so they cant seat us there, but they are ALL open and available is ridiculous. It feels like they don't want to serve you sometimes so I just end up going elsewhere. If the high tops are open and you end up standing at the bar for 45 minutes and no one ever comes in and gets seated there, I don't know why you wouldn't just be seated there..... Guess we will see what happens next time.
We did a large curbside order. Everything was perfect!! Nothing missing. Would like to give a huge thank you to Matt who is in charge of to go orders for diligently working to make our order correct!! Excellent Mother's Day dinner!!
A place my order by phone. That came in 20 minutes later to pick it up the order was ready. After opening the bag I noticed that they gave me about 15 french fries. The container wasn’t even halfway full nor near it. I turned the fries to the young lady at the desk. She states oh that’s how many you get for takeout order. I explain to her about the money that I’m spending I shouldn’t only get 15 french fries this is a shame. She returned a few minutes later with more fries which intern were cold. But I had to go back to work. After getting back to work I discovered that my chicken was not done raw, pink,and bleeding. I called back to the restaurant and asked for a manager. The lady on phone told me it is dinner time that there’s no way that I can speak to a manager right now. I explain to her the situation and she had no compassion or did she care and was extremely rude. Finally she put me on hold and another young lady picked up the phone. And then said OK hold on and hung the phone up. I called back and I expressed that is rooting on someone and she still continue to be rude is it OK here’s the manager. The manager got on the phone and it was blatantly just pushed off like what’s your address I’ll mail you your money back. But that’s not OK to give someone raw food and then make it as if that it’s their fault because they cannot come back because they’re at work.It’s a no go for me!! 1st and last time go there.
25 minute wait with dozens of empty tables, hostess a bit snotty, but waiter was very pleasant. Its been about 50 minutes and I still don't know what the food tastes like! Ok, one hour fifteen minutes later, food was superb, unfortunately the ketchup dish was hanging precariously off the edge of the plate and ended up in my lap. Despite food being good, I don't want to go thru this ordeal again!
Front of the house needs a lot of help with organization, common sense, and customer service. I'll leave it at that. The waitress and food made up for it. I was part of a big group so we got a few apps. Potato skins and buffalo chicken thighs were the highlight there. I had the brisket and bacon burger, it was cooked to my preferred temp and the fries were good. Overall the service from the waitress merits my 4 stars. She saved the day for the front of the house, hopefully next time there will be some improvement.

Experience was great, if you a craft beer ,Ipa, person than this is the place for you, the APV IPU intake are off the charts, almost feels like a visit to Portland Oregon breweries. The food is always down to earth and handcrafted from wings to a ridiculous pizza menu with takes just like chicago deep dish, but over all they have it all on the menu. So let's talk about customer service, the only thing that was bad was you cant make reservations, so if you have a party of 10 you'll be waiting 30 to 40 mins for a table, normal I guess since the area still has new restaurants under construction, once those are done it should help the times, anyway place was clean from bar to dining room and bathroom . Me and my family had a Special Bday there for my son AJ big 17, and he was so happy with the time he spent there especially at the end with the bday cake the kitchen sent out, and another great thing is they take care of you smaller kids by bringing them a appetizer out for free while they wait for there food, awesome, but my hat goes off to our waitress , I thought her arms were going to break from all the food we ordered and all the drinks she kept bringing us thou the night crazy , thank you Priscilla you were amazing the service you provided us was bar none some of the best I have seen , professional and also heart felt, I hope to get you again on our next visit. Great job .
