Thank you so much for honoring our Nurses during Nurses week! We appreciate you! The food was delicious ?
Great sandwiches. 1 old Italian and 1 Philly cheesesteak. Cost was about $23, for a small and a promo size, but had a very generous amount of meat per sandwich. Was very filling because of the delicious layers of not everyday meats like prosciutto. All ingredients were fresh!?Also take a deep look at the menu!?It contains dozens of crafted sandwiches that will make everybody’s needs met, even meatless options. The costumer service is done very quick and professionally that it is hard to ignore the happiness in the cashiers face. Store was modern and beyond clean/organized.Seems like a great place to work which I am happy to see, I love seeing employees who are happy to serve people. Even though just opening shop this year, this business deserves the hype.
One of the best “quick” meals you can find. PrimoHoagies blows Subway and Jersey Mike’s out of the water. The meats they use are always fresh. The staff at Rockaway goes above and beyond to make sure you leave satisfied. If you’re looking for a quick but quality meal I highly recommend Primo.
I love primo. They have the best sandwiches hands down. The bread is so fresh and you can tell they put a lot of love into the sandwiches and their business. I'm shocked at the bad reviews honestly.
Ordered a $28 sandwich that was supposed to be “MILD” and they put pepper ham on it. Called to complain and they said “that’s how we make it. Sweet capitols has. Black pepper on the outside”. No it doesn’t. They gave us pepper ham. Poor customer service and definitely not worth the money. Mediocre at best. You can get a better sandwich at Jersey Mikes. At least JM’s owns up to their mistakes and make it right. Not this place, they’d rather arugula with you on the phone and try to make you feel stupid.
It all starts with the Bread that they bake fresh in house. In my opinion, this puts them over the top. I love the fact that they have a simple menu that they master and deliver at a high level. Hence, you get what you pay for and this place is not cheap, especially if you have a family of 4. But, they you get fresh ingredients and a great sandwich. I would choose this place over any of the other type of chains in the area. My plan is to go back and do more of an in depth feature. The staff was great and all were working hard to fill orders with a big line. Cannot wait to go back and try some other sandwiches.
The BEST ? hoagies anywhere in NJ... and that is saying a lot because up till now I have loved Jersey Mikes and a few mom and pop shops... but the key is their bread... crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and does not get soggy easily. Always fresh ingredients and a great variety... something for everyone! So happy they opened in Rockaway!
My boyfriend and I were waiting for this place to open and MAN was it worth the wait. We got an Italian sub and a Philly cheesesteak. First of all, I'd come here just for the bread, AMAZING! The sandwiches were so fresh and just so tasty. The price wasn't bad for the amount of food we got, I couldn't even finish. The staff were so friendly and added to the already amazing experience. Seriously great place. Can't wait to come back!
Such a great place not your ordinary sub shopSo sandwiches are so fresh and the counter help is so accommodating and helpful. Primo even has their own bag of Italian sub potato chips!!!!! Glad I was recommended to Primo Hoagies
stopped in Friday around 5, a few folks ahead of me. woman that took my order was very nice and accommodating, she was great helping me my first time here. ordered the abruzzi (pork and broccoli rabe) and a mild italian. abruzzi was very good, the cheese a bit over-powering. the italian was also very good. only complaint is the bread was a bit hard. hopefully won't be the next time I go back.
