Lively, busy place on a Saturday night in August. Lots of small parties going on - engagements, birthdays, etc. Not a quiet, romantic setting type of place. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our waiter Walter was fantastic. He explained everything in detail and answered every question. Food came out fast, would have liked a little more time between appetizers and main course. All the food was delicious - no disappointments among our group. Another bonus is that it's a BYOB. Overall, this place is a well-oiled machine that won't disappoint.

Really cute byob spot! I would recommend making a reservation especially on a weekend if that's possible. I came here with my boyfriend around 4:30 for an early dinner and it was pretty busy. All staff were wearing masks. No one approached our table for quite a while and we were sat with no access to a menu. It took about 15 minutes for a QR code to be given to us but after that, the service was good! We started off with the rice balls which I recommend. Not something I normally would order so it was a nice treat. I got the eggplant parm with a side of spaghetti. Also very delicious. I don't usually clean my plate but I did here! Portion size was normal, not too big not too small, it was filling. We ended with dessert which was the chocolate lava cake I believe! Passed through Red Bank on a small trip but if i'm ever in the area again, i'd be happy to come back!

I threw a surprise birthday party in the upstairs, private area and it was outstanding. I am so impressed! From the moment we arrived to set up, several staff members came outside to help unload my car, they helped with decorations and laying out the BYOB alcohol for us. They were also so, so polite. The private area was perfect for the event, service for our guests was amazing and the food just kept coming! All of our guests kept complimenting how they were able to just sit at the table and every time they looked up, more food was on the table! Incredible overall and would highly recommend to host for a private party or just grab a great dinner.

Went for the first time last night. There were 4 of us and everyone enjoyed their meals. Will definitely go again!

Great pasta and dessert. Skip the tomahawk steak, low quality steak. We were seated by the stairs, asked to be seat away but host just ignored us, asked again and host responded “I don’t know”. 2 hours into dinner, more than 5 tables stay empty, so we could have changed our table. The foot traffic by the stairs was very disturbing. Waiters were rushing down the stairs and almost ran into my daughter’s seat. A little disappointed and really couldn’t enjoy our dinner.

3.5 stars is not an option so I'll give it 4 stars. It's hard to compete with the amazing Italian restaurants in Red Bank, so I thought it was good but not my favorite. The chicken parm was delicious, and the pasta was good. Interesting but tasty charcuterie board, fun atmosphere.

A bit of context — this was on a busy Friday night, so my own experience may not be indicative of how the restaurant generally operates. It's relatively highly rated, so it's entirely possible we're the anomaly! That said, I went with three friends and none of us were happy with the meal.First, the wait was extraordinarily long. The servers were apologetic, and I totally understand kitchen delays aren't on them, but it was nonetheless an HOUR after we ordered that we got our food. About thirty minutes into the wait, they gave us each a small roll of bread, a bit smaller than a biscuit. This felt a bit cheap to me -- like, they had a full tray of these things, but they just gave us four rolls and walked away. And isn't it standard procedure to give that out before the order is even placed? That said, I could forgive the long, hungry wait if the food was good. Unfortunately, it was not. I'm a bit reticent to get too adventurous with food from restaurants I've never been to, so I went for a relatively simple spaghetti and meatballs. A staple meal for any Italian restaurant, no?Unfortunately, it was bland, unappetizing, and honestly somewhat undercooked. I'm about as far from a chef as it gets, so when I've cooked better pasta I know something went wrong. I did finish my plate (woo childhood poverty 'eat what's in front of you" powers go!) but the rest of my party was unable to finish theirs and did not feel a strong desire to take the rather plentiful leftovers home. There were a lot of other little things that bothered us. Everything felt disorganized, the tap water pitcher was very small and could not fill more than two glasses, and you had to walk through what seemed to be part of the kitchen to get to the bathrooms. But ultimately, the wait, the food, and the large bill were the biggest deal-breakers. I do not plan on returning.

Wow is all I can say. Food is outstanding, service is great, area is great. Pasta dish was prepared table-side. Fun atmosphere- made me feel very special for my birthday!

Food was outstanding but the service was just as good with John our server and David who was his assistant, David brought us the bread, water ect with a smile. The manager was extremely friendly as well, I believe her name was Tina. Can’t wait to ho back!
