Excellent! Best Pork Chop I ever ate!
Food appearance was good, but taste and temperature was not so good, and at best nothing better, probably worse, than a decent at-home cook could do. No discerning person will be confused to think a great chef worked hard to prepare, unless it was a REALLY bad day for that chef. Service was slow. For the two of us this meal was over $60 per person with tax and a credit card % up charge use fee (before tip and with no alcohol). There are many better restaurants for the money. Overall it was a disappointing outting. Monticello at Red BanK would be very low down on any list of places we would return to, and we could not honestly recommend the place, but maybe you will have better luck if/when you go. It's BYOB.

Prices fixe menu was very affordable yet tasty and filling. Only one server was on duty forcing her to work very hard and limiting her performance.
It is a favorite spot for us Food is fresh and flavorful We enjoy prix fix ,pasta ,veal ,and fish specials Love their risotto variety
We went on a Tuesday and got the fixed price menu($25/pp). I got the chicken francaise and my husband got the pasta in a vodka cream sauce. They came with salad and ice cream. All of the food was delicious!! Itâs also a BYOB. I very highly recommend Monticello!

Our dinner was over $200 and we got 4 things. We were there for over an hour and half just waiting for food. Wouldnât go again. Very average food and my filet mignon that was$55 was chewy.
Great spot in red Bank for consistently good Italian food. Service is excellent!
