We recently ordered bbq catering for a Celebration of Life event from Local Smoke. Kevin was a breeze to work with, very kind and accommodating, and delivery was right on time and very professional. The food was *delightful*, we got tons of compliments and guests asking where we ordered from; even the next day leftovers were delicious!

Local Smoke BBQ catered my sons wedding today and made it a great success!!! Everyone raved about how great the food was and were very happy that there was such a great selection and not one disappointment. There were a lot of people taking business cards for future use. I actually went here for catfish because discovered its one of rare places with cornmeal coated fried catfish and its was the absolutely the best Ive ever had. The fish was so flavorful, it was incredible especially for a BBQ place. Amazing!
Food was okay, very expensive and there are no prices on the menu. Platters says 2 meats and 2 sides included yet we were charged for a side on both. After 2 drinks it was $56 for lunch. Just not worth it at that price.
Had this via Uber eats while in town and it did not disappoint!! My husband loved the Brussel sprouts! The mac and cheese was so yummy and tasted homemade! So much food!
Each time I've come here the service has been immediate, extremely friendly and to top it all off the food consistently great. Each time its been hot, fresh and perfectly cooked. So much so my partner and I went 4 Fridays in a row to try more of their menu! My favorite is the pulled pork sandwich with the sweat potato fries. The pork is juicy and tender and the sauce that's mixed in with it is slightly sweet rounding off the savory pork perfectly. The sweet potato fries where crispy on the outside and soft fluffy on the inside. We always look forward to eating here when we're in the area!

I’ve ordered from this restaurant several times in the past. Their food is always delicious and well made. The problem here was the customer service. I ordered a platter for a surprise party on Saturday. I ordered it about 2 days prior to be ready by 7:30 pm. I was assuming it was just going to be a quick pick up. When I arrived there was quite a confusion about my order even when I gave my name. At first they said I had changed the time to 7:50( they were confused about another order), next they talked amongst themselves about how my order “ wasn’t even close to ready”; when I interjected asking about how much time does “ not even close to ready mean because I have a deadline for a surprise party to get to ?” They said about “15 to 25 mins.” No apology for the tardiness or anything of the sort.The moral of this story is: The food is delicious and well made … but you’ll get it when you get it. Even if you order days in advance. ?
