The food is outstanding. Fresh, hot, and tasty. The pricing is very good as well. I would have given it 5 stars but since the beginning of this year they have added a surcharge if you use a credit card of 4%. I think this is outrageous but know it's getting more prevalent. In addition to raising prices restaurants and other establishments are doing this. I believe it's a cost of doing business and the consumer shouldn't have to take another hit. Also 4% is a bit much. They're not getting charged 4% by the card processor. It will cause me to think about going there as frequently as we do.
It's a small place but great atmosphere and it's a BYOB, which I love. I ordered the tortilla soup and a sliced beef chmichanga. I got a little nervous about how the meal was going to go because the soup came out extremely bland, there was just no flavor to it. However, the chimichanga was outstanding. It was stuffed with delicious meat, came with a side of delicious rice and the sauce just brought it all together.
Had a very enjoyable experience. Chips and salsa were immediately brought to our table and salsa was fresh and tasty. We were offered an ice bucket abs glasses for our wine. The ceviche was a little dryer than I'm used to, but was jam packed with flavors. Not enough crackers, but they gladly brought more out on request. Enchiladas were very cheesy, the chicken was okay. The chimichanga was delicious (beef). All in all a great experience and will certainly go back soon.
This is a great choice when going to a show at the theater in town. There is free parking back in the lots by the railroad after 11am. It is BYO so you can keep the price down as well - and the food is quite good.
U far beat Mexican food I had since I moved to the town ….
I don't know why there are ANY reviews above 1 (one) star for this place. The BEST part of our experience was the service and that was JUST AVERAGE. There was NO FLAVOR to ANY of the food. Just basic salt and pepper to help season the food would have helped. My enchiladas were taste less and the salsa verde was just green. Oh my gosh - do not spend any time here if you are looking for authentic mexican food. Make your own at home. What a tasteless mess. Even the refried beans and rice were awful. NO FLAVOR. Oh my gosh! Why do people keep on going to this place. And the FLAN WAS A DISASTER; OVERCOOKED AND NOT A BIT OF CARAMEL SWEETNESS. What a disgrace. We will NEVER return to this place. What a shame. Red Bank could use a great mexican place. Juanitos SUCKS.
Nice place in Red bank , they served chips with fresh Salsa , one of best Mexican restaurant in redbank , only make sure their portion size is big, and you have to do street parking.
Went there with friends before a show at the Count Basie theater. I thought the food was delicious, my friends said it was so fresh and authentic, I had the chimichanga I have never had a chimichanga with so much chicken stuffed into the shell 100% chicken, the flavors were so delicious. It was served with refried beans and rice which was also good. My date had the steak fajitas what a large portion of steak and delicious, the other person that was with us ordered what looked like a seafood chimichanga or burrito it was so stuffed with seafood shrimp, scallops, & lobster definitely would order again,we are planning to make another trip very soon. I have to try other items on the menu , they all look delicious coming out of the kitchen, and service was good. Food came out quickly atmosphere was cute. I just say overall for the amount of food you get the price is right. I definitely recommend trying it.??
Great vegan Mexican options await you. We had the veggie fajitas which were gently spiced to show off the flavors. And the vegan enchiladas in a rich flavorful mole sauce. Service was friendly and efficient
This should be a ZERO review. I ordered off door dash for a 6 pm delivery. The door dasher was there for 30 minutes and the food was not ready so he cancelled. Then after an hour and a half, they told me we could cancel it through door dash and pick it up ourselves. We showed up and they told us they threw out the food. We were confused and questioning them, the hostess told us to “f off” and told us it was door dash’s problem
