rudest waiter ever. practically threw everything on the table. wrong items. gave us boxes while we were still eating and didn't offer dessert just bright the check. then got annoyed my to go boxes weren't in my bag fast enough. with travel time we weren't out of the house a whole hour.
High quality food and service!!! American Chinese food that's reliably fresh and delicious. The welcoming and attentive staff run an upscale-feeling dining room that offers efficient take-out.
Saw a roach in the restaurant. Found out they were delivering alcohol during covid. Very unacceptable. They have gone downhill since covid.

Everything was delicious. Love that they give you the fried noodles & duck sauce. Only 'complaint' if you want to call it that was my dish (general tso's chicken) could have been a bit spicier but it was still absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back soon

It is a shame how absolutely horrible service has gotten. This used to be my family's go-to Chinese restaurant, but after our experience yesterday, Feb14, we will never order from here again.I called to place an order for takeout. The phone number printed on their menus is out of service. The second number provided online immediately hangs up after ringing once. This happened no less than 12 times before my phone call finally went through. When I was placing my order, three times I had to repeat myself because the kid on the other end of the phone was talking to other people, telling me "Sorry, what did you say? Sorry, can you repeat that again?" multiple times. I should have canceled my order then. (Not surprisingly, we ended up having a whole dish missing from our bag)When we went to pick it up, the kid at the front asked for payment and tried to swipe our card, for an order that was already pre-paid. "Oh, yeah, look at that, it is paid for already. Oops"We get home and after seeing that a $10 dish we paid for was not included, we attempted to call to get a refund. It took 30 minutes of dialing (rings once and then disconnects) before our call finally went through. The same kid answered and said "Can you please hold for a moment?". It is 20 MINUTES before he comes back and says "How can I help you?"I told him that we had paid for an item that was not included and I would like a refund. He told me he would give me restaurant credit for a future order. I told him no, I would like to be refunded back on my credit card. He says oh ok, let me check. I asked him what was going on at the restaurant because it is nearly impossible to call and said that the number printed on the menus is out of service. He told me the number on the menu wasn't wrong (!?) and they only have two lines. I gave him my card number for the refund and asked when I should expect the refund to show, and then he hung up on me mid-sentence, mumbling something as he hung up.That was the last straw for me to write this restaurant off. I don't know what has changed, but this is not the same House of Chong we used to go to. I will never be back, and I will no longer recommend this restaurant to family/friends.
Really good Chinese food. Eat in or takeout. Has a cool little bar.
