Me and my wife had an excellent lunch here today. Had the Soppressata Pizza and the Surf n Turf roll - both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend Bistro!
Bistro Red Bank is unjustifiably expensive for the quality of food that they provide. I ordered a medium burger and got a well done, my partner's steak was chewy, and neither of our dishes were well prepared. The sushi roll was supermarket quality and tasted stale. The bill was 80$ for these three items. I wouldn't recommend dining here.
Favorite restaurant. It simultaneously feels intimate and exciting, and city-like. The staff has always been absolutely wonderful. Also, I recommend using their super easy reservation tools— it can get crowded.
We had Lunch here today and it wasreally good. The vodka Pizza and samurai fries were delicious. Our waitress was very nice also. Definitely willcome back.
We had a reservation for 6:30 which was not a problem . We sat down and did not get greeted for a least 30 minutes. My girlfriend had to go ask if we had a server and the hostess was rude. The server finally greeted us and got us ice. (When we got him to understand us.) We decided to order sushi but big mistake. There is nothing good I can say about any of it. Poor combinations and bad taste. Do not ever get the spicy tuna there. It was terribly fishy tasting. I can honestly use the word, "disgusting". I love sushi and I gagged eating this particular roll. The roll with cream cheese should have been the cream cheese roll. One girl ordered that not even seeing the cream cheese. All you were eating was cream cheese plain and simple. I want to find something nice to say, but there is nothing. Don't bother going there - really - it was $100 down the toilet.No let me be clear my girlfriend had to ask for a server and she said the hostess was not nice. I never said your server had marbles in his mouth. When he asked how it was nobody said great. I said mediocre at best. They just wanted to get out. Sushi is a fish true but it does not taste fishy. We spent a lot of money so yeah one of the girls ate it. Your response just gave your restaurant a worst name. A simply apology would have gone a long way. So unfortunately, I am now going to social media, not just a review. I have been a server for 20 years - your guest is always right. I don't lie so refrain from name calling - I do not believe I did that to you at all.
Fantastic restaurant, great service, food was a great combination of different genres. Had a fantastic date night with the wife, highly suggest. Allie our waitress had some great suggestions and the ribeye special blew my wife away with flavor.Definitely mPay2park+ before you get their to park Red Bank is annoying to figure out parking.
We won't be back!! Food was good, service was SLOW!! And at the end of the meal, because the waiter took so long to take our order, and the food took so long to get to us, we were told we had exceeded our time limit and couldn't have dessert!! They are still using COVID as an excuse! I'll give you the hour and a half time limit when they had half the number of tables in the restaurant, but we were packed in there like sardines! Food wasn't that good!!! Oh and public service announcement....who charges extra for using a credit card??? I asked the table next to us and they had no clue that they paid an extra 3.3% because they used a credit card. Pretty sure that's illegal in NJ! MANY better restaurants in Red Bank to put up with that!!
Amazing and we will be returning ?. Our server Skylar provided a 5-Star experience from menu suggestions to superior customer attentiveness. The food was prepared to perfection! The dessert of brioche bread pudding with a scoop of bitter dark chocolate ice cream was delicious beyond. And their coffee….it was a wonderful dining experience to be remembered and cherished dining experience with my Beloved.
Went here for a family occasion. Cannot say enough about how excellent our server was. This was accompanied by great foot. Nine out of nine of us were very happy with what we ordered. Hope they get the liquor license sorted out soon!
We had such an amazing experience from the time we made reservations right up to the end of a fabulous meal! The hostess who made the reservation for us was extremely friendly and very professional. When we arrived we were greeted and seated very quickly. The restaurant was packed there was not an empty seat in the house! Our server came over immediately and gave us water, wine glasses and opened our wine. She gave us the specials for the evening. When we asked her to repeat them she did so with a smile. We gave her the appetizer order and asked for a bit of time to decide on dinner. There were too many fantastic choices we couldn’t decide! The server was so nice, she gave us just the right amount of time to decide while bringing another bottle of water. The appetizers we ordered came out so fast. They were amazing. We had the Samurai fries, the Asian Caesar salad and the soppressatta pizza. The fries were topped with a sauce that had a spicy zing to them. They were delicious. The salad had spicy cashews and shredded wontons in it and the flavor was not short of incredible! The pizza was hot fresh and came with a ton of meat on it. So delicious! The meal was just as incredible. We had the rigatoni bolognese. It had a meat sauce with crumbled sausage in it with a slight flavor of spicy. There was so much in the dish it was hard to eat it all! We had the Chicken and Shrimp Lo Mein. The flavor was perfect! The shrimp was really big not like those tiny ones usually put in dishes. Every bite was Heaven! The other dish we had was the Chicken Milanese. It was so incredible. The chicken was tender with a crispy panko coating. It was topped with cheese, spring mix and a balsamic glaze. The flavors meshed together perfectly! Since we were celebrating a birthday we had dessert. They completely complimented the meal. We had the chocolate bread pudding, chocolate brownie and the napoleon. The server even put a candle on the napoleon! I can’t say enough about how great the food was and also the service. It was a packed house and we waited for nothing! The server and those who brought out the food were so friendly, quick and helpful for anything we needed. The hostesses were so sweet and efficient. The manager was amazing and was there at every turn to ensure we were getting exceptional service. That’s what we got. Exceptional dishes with exceptional service too. Nothing short of a perfect evening! We absolutely will be going back to enjoy many meals there! We will also recommend the restaurant to all of our family, friends and anyone who asks for a great place to eat in the area!
