How do you mess up a breakfast sandwich?Breakfast sandwiches are easy, quick, delicious and affordable. You can go into any deli, bodega, or bagel shop and know what you're getting. Some are a bit better than others, but none are bad. Today I had a bad breakfast sandwich. The bagel was stale and there was a sliver of cheese. This place is obviously a local favorite, I dont see why. Over priced stale food.
I’ve been visiting this deli for years. The best in the area. Great food and always consistent!-Tristan van GendtCompass Real Estate/Hoboken NJ
I go to Spring Street Deli several times a week, for many years, for good reason! Their food is always fresh and they have great options in salads, sandwiches, wraps, soups, and paninis to name a few. And everyone on their staff are always fast, reliable, and very friendly! This is the best deli, not just in the area, anyplace!
The pre-made salads are $9.50. The grilled chicken is extremely dry, so I asked to replace the chicken with turkey. Then it's $14. So I asked to just remove the chicken and have no meat. Then it's still $14. The reasoning is because it's now a "custom made salad" instead of a "pre-made salad". But.... it's all the same ingredients. Actually LESS ingredients. (And meat is usually the most expensive part of a salad.)Soooo, I'll take the $9.50 salad and just throw out the dry chicken myself, and we won't be ordering salads from here for our office anymore. There are plenty of places that won't charge $4.50 to remove meat from your salad. (Side note, the additional money can't be because you now have to pay someone to make the salad. Someone made the same original "pre-made" salad, too.)It's unfortunate, cause it's a silly policy that many customers are probably not even aware of. And instead of having a decent explanation for it (maybe I'm missing something??), the lady just kept saying "because it's now a custom made salad" ?
Well priced and plenty of choices. The workers were friendly and the Italian Combo was delicious.
Went there today for the first time. Ordered a turkey bacon with egg whites on a roll. Asked to pay while they were making the sandwich and was told I had to wait until they were done to get a price. Once the sandwich was done I paid $8.53! Not only was that extreme, but there was hardly any bacon on sandwich and excessive pepper. This place is a rip off and they wont give you the price off the top so you get stuck paying like me. My first and definitely the last time I go there. Buyer beware!!!
This spot is one of the most expensive places I have ever ordered a sandwich from, if you want one made to order... You're looking at the minimum of $13 plus tax, for a grilled chicken, Mozzarella, roasted peppers, balsamic vinegar on a roll. Throw in a bag of chips and your on your way to $15 plus, and I havent even gotten a drink...They have a selection of premade sandwiches that hang in their display during the week, and as it sells they will replenish; those are $10 bucks. But not freshly made.I ordered one those premade Chicken sandwiches and asked for it to be heated, when I got a chance to eat it, it was very oily, that type of oil you find on certain pizzas. I wont be ordering that again.
Fantastic deli. Big meat portions. Diverse menu options.
Came in here today for the first time. Terrible experience. The lady at the counter was extremely rude and had zero customer service skills. The empanadas were terrible. Worst I’ve had around this area to be completely honest. And the lemonade was beyond sour. Won’t be coming back. Would give a zero honestly if I could. The whole experience was just bad.
Good Taylor egg and cheese, staff are very nice and good comes out quick.
