Decided to try a new place tonight. I've tried most Chinese places around ramsey and Mahwah in the last 6 years and this is now my favorite Chinese place. I got the vegetable low mein and general tsos tofu. It was very good. Also the scallion pancakes were really crunchy and came with this really awesome sauce. I will be ordering from them again.
I was honestly skeptical about the food. I have been loyal custom to my local Chinese take spot for quite sometime. I have tried other Chinese takeout and was somewhat disappointed on their food. But that’s not case here, the food I ordered from Shang hai was very flavorful and enjoyable, although the vegetable fried rice was slightly on the bland side. But overall the food was good and I’ll probably order food from here again.
I only order chinese takeout/delivery from Shanghai. Food is delivered nice and hot. Quality is superb. BBQ Ribs are so good. They are meaty, lean and delicious. I especially love the Lake Tung Ting Shrimp. Shrimp Egg Foo Young is the best. Staff is very nice. They always fulfill delivery time estimate. Order with confidence.
Hit or miss at this place
If you love the classic chicken lo mein, here it was such a disappointment. Zero flavor, very dry, and noodles super overcooked. If I didn't luckily grab soy sauce it would have been so flavorless.
Some of the best Chinese I've had. Comes at a more then fair price. I've had it delivered to my hotel 4 times and it's always perfect.
Hands down our favorite Chinese food in the area. The food isn't over sauced or soggy, the vegetables are always fresh, and their steamed dumplings are amazing.
It's a Solid Chinese Restaurant in a good town. Good Service and Good Food, what more can you ask for?
This place is worth trying. They have big portions for reasonable rates. Constantly clean and with fantastic vibes. Will come visit again.
