Update: whoa a steal. It's a wed and came in for lunch but left getting dinner. They have duck, ribs, and crab out there. And I ate. So good. Idk if this is every wed either. Maybe lucky. And all that while watching One Piece lolWow gotta say 1st time coming here and just blown away. The decore was excellent clean and modern. The hot tea had a very deep color not just almost clear water lol. And the best part was the food. Different choices but still classics. My favorite now are their dim sum and dumplings so good which I usually never get. Oh and this place still has soft serve ice cream! (lots of places switched to ice cream bars). So happy about that. Def brings back younger memories. Will def come again.
Where do I even begin? I absolutely LOVE this restaurant! I have been going here since about 2002. I've gone here with friends, family, co workers, and it was ALWAYS a great time. The food is beyond amazing, the entire staff is incredibly friendly, and it's a very clean and organized restaurant. I wish I was there right now! VERY highly recommend going here!
We travel all the way from Montclair we truly in joy your dinner buffet love the selections especially the duck, we give you a lot of credit to keep the business going even when the buffet was closed due to Covid the table service was excellent.Keep up the great work and best of luck during these hard times.
The Grand Buffet in Ramsey is the best buffet that you will ever go to!! The restaurant is immaculate and the food is delicious and plentiful. I have never seen such a large variety of choices, from seafood to beef, many chicken choices AND sushi, a hibachi bar, dessert, pizza, fried chicken and shrimp!!! The price is great and the service outstanding!! If you like Chinese food , the Grand Buffet is a great find!!!!
I've been here several times over the years. I recently went back after I heard that they were like other small businesses dealing with the effects of the pandemic.During my most recent visit, which was for lunch on a Saturday, I thought the overall quality of the food was very good. Compared to many of the other Chinese buffets in Bergen County, they always stood out since the food tasted fresher. I also like the fact the food here isn't nearly as greasy or salty as other area Chinese buffets. Even the hibachi was not salty and they also took care when we requested less seasoned food for our kid. Even the ice cream machine had decent quality soft serve.The service here is always very friendly. It was no different this time. I am not sure why some people say the value is an issue. It was only $13.95 for lunch on Saturday and $4.95 for my kid. Given the relative food quality and the overall experience, I thought it was a very fair price.I also like how they keep this place pretty clean and gloves are used when getting food. I also didn't notice food being refreshed at a noticeably slow clip. Overall this place is a good choice if you're into Chinese buffets in general.
Been here several times over the years. Better than your average buffet. Not as wide of a selection as some buffets. I agree with the others that items aren't replenished very quickly. One thing that I found missing was hot pepper oil that almost every other buffet has.
I know due to covid many places have specific rules bu putting on mask and gloves every single time you have to get food is ridiculous, not only did we have trouble holding on to the plates but also a lot of other people were dropping their plates as well. The food. Not so great and it was cold. They dont have many options to eat, even dessert.
The place looks clean and nice. However, the dinner’s price is too high for the amount of food they have here. Also, in the hibachi the flavors are very simple. They don’t even offer to add salt or anything that adds a little bit more of flavor. The sushi is regular too. It’s fresh but too veggie.In general, the place is good but too pricey for the little amount of food that they offer.

I had a wonderful experience dining at Grand Buffet. Everything I had was fresh and delicious. The hibachi was much appreciated. My new favorite buffet by far. I really appreciated that they required the masks and gloves in the buffet lines. The staff was also very friendly.
