Great food! Lovely atmosphere.
Went here tonight after realizing it had been ages since I've been to a French restaurant.The service was great. They seemed a little worried when we walked in asking for a table for two and had no reservations at 8:15pm on a Friday, but they managed to clear a table for us fairly quickly and the food came out faster than expected.The Filet Mignon Ravioli appetizer was amazing! So was the pork chop, which my dinner partner ordered and let me try...it was juicy, tender and flavorful. I had the short rib which I did enjoy, but man was I jealous of that pork chop.We are definitely coming back, next time with a nice bottle of wine to enjoy with our food.
First time there, loved it. We had a great table, service is attentive but not intrusive. All the dishes were fantastic, we had the filet, venison, fish, tuna tartar, mushroom salad, and the filet ravioli. Desserts were good, really liked the pecan ice cream, and they gave us a white mousse on the house with a wonderful tart berry sauce which was a very nice touch. We had a late reservation, and kept the table for hours.
Not a F of the fine dining. Tables close to each other, can't stretch my legs. The worst was a service or the lack of service. Rude waiters, not polite, not helpful. Food is practically thrown on the table. Very overpriced for the mediocre food. Never again

Wonderful resterant even with the new ownership. The menu has been updated and given a fresh breath of inspiration. The quality is still as good as it gets. .
Very good food, the salmon tartare and filet mignon ravioli were the highlights. Service wasn't bad per-say but wasn't amazing. Definitely would come back again for the food and love that its BYOB.
We have been visiting Café Panache for more than 30 years. This is a truly outstanding restaurant – one of the best in New Jersey and probably the country. It has been consistently excellent all these years, including through the recent passing of founder and long-time owner and executive chef Kevin Kohler. Rest assured that the quality of food, presentation, service, and atmosphere remains incredibly high. While we have never had a disappointing dish there are some highlights. If you see any of these on the menu they warrant strong consideration: octopus, wild mushroom salad, lobster bisque, filet mignon ravioli (appetizer or entrée), lobster entrée, short ribs, steaks, ribs, fresh fish, soft shell crabs. Desserts are all house made and amazing. BYOB and they have very good glasses. Café Panache is a must try and worth the drive. Reservations essential.
