Food that I got was really awful, but 1 only ordered 3 different things. My bulgogi tasted like hamburger helper, no joke. The only food that was somewhat good was the yakitori but bare miminum “Good”. Acceptable. Felt taken, spent 56 bucks on absolutely tasteless food no garnishes sauces or even the soy for the dumplings tasted store bought and inauthentic. Sad bc the service was friendly and cute place. She forgot two of my orders though and apologized for take out. Idk I’m a homemade foodie and I would have truly rather eaten fast food like Wendy’s, Chipotle, or Subway and would have been more satisfied by getting quality and quantity and not felt like I threw 60 bucks right in the trash. They also have this weird identity crisis of fusion marketed between Korean Japanese and Chinese without hitting the mark on any one of those cuisines. Pick one and do a great job with it, not less than mediocre for all three. You want great fusion that hits the mark, go to Roots on Route 1 in the Staples/Whole Foods shopping center if you are local. You’ll be delighted with the in-house recipes, sauces, and flavors

The beef bulgogi bowl was delicious, I had a side of kimchi with it. The kimchi had a hint of spice. It was delicious. 10/10 recommendIt's also such a cute small restaurant. The parking is small, maybe 10 spots and is a one way entrance

Used to be my favorite restaurant in Princeton... Apparently the original owner is gone and quality has went down.. lots of menu items removed and the remaining ones are not prepared the same way

I have driven by Soonja’s many times and finally stopped in for carry out. Folks, this was literally the worst meal of any kind I have had in recent memory. Suggest owner consider a new chef ASAP.

Below average Oriental Resturant, have 2/3 items in menu from Korea, Thai and Japan. My first experience was ok, but second time ? Nah ….

Recently I stopped there and had dinner. Originally, the restaurant looked like a Korean restaurant run by a Japanese Korean. The owner is Korean, but I think he lived in Japan for a long time. But now, the owner seems to have changed from Japanese to Chinese. Korean food didn't taste like Korean food at all.

Scallion pancake with shrimp for $9.80????Very little scallion! ZERO shrimp! Not worthy at all!

I waited a long time to try this place even though it is near me and I love the cuisine because the prices are so high. And that's the bottom line here: the food is decent, but very overpriced.I got the scallion pancake ($7.80) and the beef fried rice ($16). The scallion pancake was a little bland / pretty meh. The fried rice was pretty good. Both were fine in terms of portion/amount of food. But neither was good enough to justify the price. For comparison: SCHouse has a better scallion pancake, and it costs $3.95. In fact, they have a "Beef Pancake Roll" that costs about the same as this scallion pancake ($7.95), but tastes better and includes much more food (plus beef). The beef fried rice at SChouse is $13.95, and at Tiger Noodles it's $11, and both are as good or better than this. $16 for beef fried rice is insane.I probably won't try this place again because of the prices, but if I do, I'll go for something meat-based like the bulgogi, because the beef was by far the tastiest and highest-quality feeling part of my meal.

Apparently they are short staffed now so food and service has really declined, and they no longer offer sushi. Bummer.

Delicious Korean food in the main Princeton area. The restaurant itself is super cute and the guy (I think he’s the owner?) who is often there is extremely sweet and funny. I come here most often for bulgogi and deonjangjigae!
