Been here quite a few times now and the food is consistently good. I haven't visited prior to covid so it was a good 2 years since the last time I came but happy to see the food is just as good as I remembered.I dunno what they do to their fries but it's fantastic. Thin, crispy and so flavorful. The ribs were delicious. Practically falls off the bone but not mushy at all.Their cocktails are delicious and boozy, highly recommend. We also got the warm sourdough bread and it is garlicky heaven. Our server was kind and attentive. Our food came out in a timely manner and the vibe here is cozy.

Beautiful space and delicious food. A bit pricey but good for a night out if willing to spend a bit. The specials are incredible. I also loved the ahi tuna sandwich!

Nestled inside of the Village; exterior had great appeal and very inviting. Ample parking.Food & Drinks: selection on the menu mediocre. Service was attentive and quick. Food was appetizing.

We had a very delicious steak and pork chop dinner. The Brussel sprout app is amazing, highly recommend. Delicious drinks as well.

Since my first time eating in here I was more than happy, great atmosphere, amazing and warm staff were happy from the service to the food.... It is unreal very good! Highly recommended !!!Unbelievable experience.* The food is amazing, fresh and extremely savory.* Drinks are perfectly made.3 years already celebrating having a dinner anniversary, I would definitely come back here with my family and friends.

For Valentine’s Day in 2021, they had a nice 4 course menu with a few options in each category to choose from. No online ordering, but you could call in advance to order and schedule a time to pick up that day (the Holiday was on a Sunday) or the day prior I think. I tried to do the sane thing this year as they had a nice menu again, but when I called a week in advance, they said they could do takeout but no advanced orders and I had to call at 5 or 5:30 pm that day but even then if they were busy they may stop. She honestly did not seem overly interested in making it a good customer experience or to ensure I had a good nice Valentine’s Day.I was busy with work today (Valentine’s Day) and didn’t get to call until 6:20 pm and the same girl answered. She said she’d check with the managers if they could still take orders. I was informed they were “too busy”. Really great way to treat someone who’s been a good, loyal customer and on Valentine’s Day. I will not be returning- Princeton has so many dining options that I don’t need to deal with SGC.

I'm not understanding these reviews. We have visited both the Princeton and Rumson locations and find them very different from each other. Princeton had average food and not the same exact menu. The service was average and we didn't feel the connection like we do in Rumson.

Exceptional service and great ambience. The creek burger while alight was slightly under cooked by my order. Decent bourbon selection overall. But I would say overpriced, you can buy 2 choice ribeye thicker than theirs for half the price at most butcher shops, if you know how to prepare a steak.

The wait for seating was pretty fast. The wait for food was ridiculously long. The food is mediocre. My husband asked for a medium cooked steak, and received completely overdone. It was so dry! His food was not hot at all. The ribs were fatty and lacked quality. The fries HAD to be reheated because, it was so chewy, and inedible. The sushi wasn't great at all. The cups were not properly clean. My cup still had a water ring on the inside. There prices doesn't match the quality of the food.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel across the parking lot from this restaurant. We were tired, hungry and cold, having traveled to NJ from Florida. We were totally surprised and pleased with our experience at Salt Creek Grille. The staff, food and drinks were superb and just what a travel weary couple needed!
