Saw the reviews for this place and saw the photos and decided that I would give it a try the next time I would be in Princeton. On arrival, the place was looked great and the slices on the counter looked solid. I ordered a square and my friends both ordered normal slices. My square slice was fairly decent but my friends slices did not come out as expected. Now I like a nice greasy slice but their slices were dripping grease. The plate was fully soaked. With that much grease, the flavor gets thrown off. I would love to give this place another try that first slice was not up to par for me.
Best pizza I've ever had! Each one has so many flavors, but not so many that it's overwhelming. The truffle pizza is definitely the best. A bit on the pricier side, but well worth it if you're a foodie like me, lol. Ooh, and the balsamic vinegar one is also soo good!
If you like soggy pizza, this is your place. Otherwise it's horrible, worst pizza I've ever had. The 99 cents slices in Manhattan are 100x better.
Really really good pizza. We got the Brooklyn pizza and it was huge and absolutely delicious. The best Brooklyn pizza I’ve ever had! The owner is super friendly too!
This pizza is fantastic. Good friendly service. A gem in downtown Princeton.
Best garlic knots I’ve ever had in my life. They were life changing
Somewhat liked the pizza and seemed like the dough was one of those store bought that we get to make a pizza at home. We ordered the Garlic knots and they came out half baked and the inside of the garlic knots was unbaked dough. When we asked them to replace it, they took the remaining garlic knots and rebaked them to the point they were almost burned and brought it back. We ended up throwing the garlic knots altogether. Will recommend this place only if you're really hungry and all the other pizza shops are closed.
This is a great spot for pizza in Princeton! Ample seating if you decide to dine in and plenty of options. My absolute favorite is the salad pie (although it can get a little soggy with delivery). The crusts are a little thick for my tastes, but Proof is better than at least 75% of Princeton’s other food options.
I've ordered twice from this place now, including tonight. Both times I got the Porky Pie for delivery. The first time, the pizza dough was too thin in the middle, so it kinda collapsed into a soggy mess there. Familiar problem, not a big deal / I didn't really mind, and the pizza was great otherwise.Tonight, the pizza was clearly undercooked. There was raw dough in the curst. Had to heat up my oven and cook it more myself. The funny thing is, this time I ordered in advance instead of ASAP, so they had plenty of time and no reason to rush the order. Both times they delivered on time.
The pizza is so fresh and hot. Thank you!
