The toppings on their website list "olives," so I called and asked if they were black olives or kalamata olives. The person on the phone assured me they used black olives, so I ordered a pizza with olives and mushrooms. When the pizza arrived, they'd used kalamata olives which was NOT what they had told me. Very disappointed that I had to spend my dinner plucking kalamata olives off my pizza instead of enjoying the black olives I ordered.The pizza itself was otherwise good, just really expensive ($24 for a two topping large pizza... definitely college town prices).tl;dr Employees have no idea what toppings they're using, and it's on the pricier side for a pretty standard pizza.
The Brooklyn pie was great. Yet, better still was the conscientiousness, kindness, and authentic warmth of Costa and the staff.After my wife and one year old left Pizza Den, we drove off leaving our baby stroller adjacent to our SUV outside of the store.Because Costa was engaging, observant, and caring he recognized this and secured our baby stroller with belongings safely in his restaurant. It was not until we made it home that we realized our blunder.Pizza Den, Costa, and the staff really take care of people. Don’t take my word for it, I encourage you to try it for yourselves.
Great place! Owner is a gentleman, and very pleasant. Would def recommend. Went well out of his way to help us, and its very appreciated. Definitely give them shot!
The pizza is OK, nothing special. But because good pizza is so hard to find these days, anything decent will get good reviews. PS: Good pizza doesn't need gimmicks.
The Brooklyn Pizza is outstanding. They use quality ingredients and you can tell. The service is excellent, as well.
I have to say Pizza Den by far has The Best Gluten Free Pizza in Town.The Brooklyn is my favorite. The crust is cauliflower based, thin and crispy. Yum!The environment is clean and inviting. The whole Pizza Den Team is always friendly and they go out of their way to provide excellent service. I’m always treated like family.It’s my go to “happy hour” place when I’ve had a long day at work to grab a pie dine in or take out.Five Stars! They come highly recommended!
