This was my first time dining here. We started with the fried eggplant fries which were way better than we expected. For the entrees, we ordered the spicy Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup and braised pork belly over rice. The pork belly dish was so flavorful and definitely will order that again. I felt like the Lanzhou soup broth could’ve had a slightly richer flavor but was good nonetheless. Also, the service we got here was great. Would definitely recommend this spot.

This is a ramen instant noodle house, not a real handmade noodle at all. The ingredients in the soup is ok. But the noodle soup is of low quality overall. It is not worth a repeat visit. The worst of all is that the waiter when I was there was a short guy with a pale skin. He was obnoxious. He wanted to charge me another cup of tea when I asked him to refill the tea cup with hot water. I confronted his boss and him with this before I left. His boss admitted the waiter was misbehaving. He should be fired on the spot! I cannot imagine any descent place could allow such a person with such an ugly soul to work there.

It was a very delicious meal although the price is slightly high for the portion they have but I think it's worth it especially soup dumplings and Lanzhou noodles

One of the most memorable dining experiences of my trip to the United States. The ambiance was beautiful. The food was wonderful, and the vegetarian lunch the "Three Sisters" was the finest I'd had thus far throughout my vacation. All three of the dishes we ordered were delicious. The food arrived sooner than expected, and the portions were all exactly great.Even the restrooms were spotless.Mr. Eric, our host, was really professional, and his interaction with us enhanced the overall experience.Looking forward another visit, if time permits.Thank you for the wonderful experience and food.

I went the other night with my boyfriend and we experienced a disappointing dining experience. From our arrival we experienced rude and apathetic service. The only white-presenting waiter was standoffish and couldn't be bothered. After I went to the bathroom I let him know that there was no toilet paper. He brushed off what I said and didn't do anything. Multiple diners went into the bathroom after this and so I had to tell somebody else, who, thankfully, responded.I ordered rice with my meal and after it failed to appear with the main course, I alerted the same white looking rude waiter who said "give me a sec" and walked away and never came back. Knowing that he wouldn't do anything, I then told the same server who took care of the toilet paper issue. She brought the rice and apologized since they had just made a new batch.Other issues:-our appetizer plates were not cleared until we were done with our main course-the eggplant fries were bland and the food we had was middling-they didn't ask if we wanted to take our leftovers, nor did they ask if we wanted to order dessertThe way the restaurant is run makes it seem like nobody is in charge and nobody has assigned duties. It's honestly surprising how packed this place was given the terrible service. Are there such limited dining options in Princeton?

I typically try not to place negative reviews, but yesterday my friend and I had went to Lan Ramen and our experience with the staff was not great. We ordered the shrimp buns, which were really good and cumin lamb which was okay. It was brought out almost cold and I am not sure if that is what the dish should be, but it was meh because of that fact. We also ordered the lamb stew...but we never received it....This is where I started to get upset. There was almost a 30 minute gap between us receiving the cumin lamb and then a waiter coming to our table asking if we ever received the order or not...clearly not if it is not on our table...common sense, right? But anyways... they were not even apologetic about the fact that they forgot to bring half our order out. I get it, you're busy, the kitchen may have forgot...but had the waiters even came to ask us how is everything, do you want more water? --- We could have told them that we're missing half the order. So the fact they did not even want to ask us how's everything to missing our order. I am leaving a generous 2 stars.

Everything, but noodles, are great!"But the name is 'Lan Ramen', shouldn't the noodles be their best dish?" I know, funnily, it's not.BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS GREAT. (just not the noodles)I've been to this place so many times. The noodles doesn't have the texture and chewy-ness as hand pulled ramen. I'm not sure if the noodles weren't freshly pulled or it's the dough's problem.??‍♀️ And the soup is bland.Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken is GREAT! I'm from Taiwan, and this dish from Lan Ramen is the closest to the popcorn chicken in Taiwan, I have ever tasted in the STATES. (But I think one time they forgot to season it with salt...)Scallion pancakes with beef is also tasty! Soup dumplings are authentic and delicious. Kung Pao dishes are nice, love the griddle cooked spicy beef, Taiwanese pork chop is authentic, and the lamb and carrot baozi is TO DIE FOR (but they seem to not have this item on the menu lately. not sure when it will be back.)

Had an amazing lunch. The dishes were really good. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Service was very good. Would love to go back. Best fried rice I had in a really long time .

We cannot get enough of Lan Ramen, it’s one of our newest go-to places to eat in Princeton. We are always so satisfied with their quality. I always find they give just the perfect portion to feel completely satisfied.

We came and we will come back without any doubt! The restaurant is underground and the place is very nice. The food was excellent, tasty, fresh, colored and well presented. Service was quick, with a caring and helpful waiter. A large choice of food, with gluten-free options. And very reasonable prices. A good place for a lunch or a diner with family or friends.
